初日は、原城を訪れます。原城は、島原の乱の舞台となった場所で、キリシタン文化と歴史を感じられる貴重な遺跡です。
2日目は島原城へ向かいます。島原城は、江戸時代初期に築かれた城です。城内には博物館もあり、歴史的な資料や展示品を見ることができます。
その後武家屋敷を訪れます。武家屋敷では島原の豊かな湧水や当時の武家文化を垣間見ることができます。
もちろん旅の楽しみ、グルメも堪能します。島原名物の貝雑煮やかんざらし、ソーメンやがんば寿司も紹介しています。

Let’s go on a trip to the beautiful nature and history of the Shimabara Peninsula!
This video introduces a model course for a 2-day/1-night trip to the Shimabara Peninsula.
The Shimabara Peninsula was once known as the land of Christian feudal lords, and many traces of Christian culture remain. There are also numerous historical landmarks such as Hara Castle, Shimabara Castle, and samurai residences.
The area is perfect for those interested in history, as well as for foreigners who are interested in Japanese culture and history.
History buffs, castle lovers, and women’s travel enthusiasts, please check out this video and enjoy the charms of the Shimabara Peninsula!
On the first day, we will visit Hara Castle. Hara Castle was the site of the Shimabara Rebellion and is a valuable historical site where you can feel the Christian culture and history.
On the second day, we will head to Shimabara Castle. Shimabara Castle was built in the early Edo period. There is a museum inside the castle, where you can view historical materials and exhibits.
Afterwards, we will visit the Buke Yashiki (samurai residences). At the samurai residences, you can enjoy Shimabara’s abundant spring water and a glimpse of the samurai culture of the time.
Of course, you will also enjoy the delights of the trip, gourmet food. We introduce Shimabara’s specialties such as shellfish stew, kanzarashi, somen noodles, and ganba-zushi.
