Lately driving in Tromsø has become extremely expensive, with the addition of road tolls all over the area. Thus, I rarely drive anywhere anymore. However, this has caused my car battery to occasionally die due to lack of use, and to prevent this I’ve been instructed to regularly go on a decently long drive. And of course you can come with me 😊

Hi Linda. You drove by a fuel station and the price shown was 23.91. Is that per Liter? If so that means fuel costs $8.14 per U.S. gallon. Can that be correct?! If so I understand why you don't want to drive.

there is only one solution to avoid road tolls… ..after the competition of Reindeer Races⛷⛷, you have to buy every deer that won and use it for commuting…..you don't even need gasoline or batteries, you just have to have a skate…(I'm kidding you). ..

I loved this clear drive. My Heart always leaps with Joy when the southern tip of Tromsøya comes into view, then the brua and the ishavskatedralen. You gave your car battery a charge with the bridge crossing, anxious to get home! I´ll be in Tromsø this Summer for 3 months; no driving, but I bet the bus and ferry fares have gone up as well. Thanks for sharing!
I'm so happy you're back 😍😍Dear Linda, don't leave the battery installed in the car if you don't use it for many days, disconnect it (it's not difficult) and keep it at home. You could also buy a car battery charger to connect to the home network and keep the battery fully charged at all times. I bought one on Ebay for under $20
