Foreigners First Time in Tagaytay πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ INSANE Volcano View From Our Room

Kumusta YouTube fam,

Welcome to a new episode here in the Philippines. Continuing on the production series here in Tagaytay, we arrived at the 2nd oldest hotel in the Philippines – the oldest hotel in Tagaytay called Taal Vista Hotel. In order to capture the best experience, we stayed in a luxurious upgrade at the contemporary and sophisticated Premier Rooms with a balcony that connects you to the extravagant view with view of the Taal volcano and lake.

Apart from the magnificent view from our room, we also had the opportunity to dine in the hotel’s restaurant and tried a local famous dish Bualalo and which was hands down one of my favourite soups in the Philippines on par with sinigang. The experience is followed by a relaxing 90 minutes massage and day tour on the following day, with a city tour visiting Ilog Maria, Cornerstone Pottery, Gourmet Farms, and Mahogany Market where locals buy the beef cut for Bualalo.

  1. For me Mahogany Market has the best Bulalo because the beef is always fresh from the market downstairs and they serve it in a soup pot with fire below it so your Bulalo soup will remain hot until the last drop of soup. I wonder why most high end restaurants do not serve it that way. You haven't visited the coffee store in there where they sell coffee beans at a very good price and they will grind it for you. Places you can visit there is the church on a hill Caleruega and Picnic Grove where you can bring food and sit on the grass while looking at the best view of the Taal Lake where the most active volcano (Taal Volcano) sits at the middle. The best way to eat avocado is scrape the fruit with a spoon bite size then put some Alaska condensed milk then put around 5 to 7 pieces tube ice and eat it as it is. Pardon our vendors they are too pushy because they want more sales. Alina is not used to this Asian market thing. I hope she is just fine. She is sensitive to smell of raw meat I think. She is not pregnant yet? That's usually a thing for pregnant women (very sensitive to bad smell). Nice to see little Justin and little Alina soon.

  2. You should have bought coffee grounds/beans in mahogany market. The market is also known for it. Anyways enjoy your trip with your family in el nido. ❀

  3. Need to remind ur viewers to press ur subscribe button. There was korean Vloger who was getting lots of viewers every vlog. When he left for korea for just a few weeks and went back to Philippines to vlog again he never got huge viewing audience anymore because of his low amount of subscribers.

  4. Hi Justin, the chicken is searching for food for her chick that is why she's digging and scracthing the ground leaves. Chickens do that to search for morsels like worms, insects and anything edible for them. I see that you and Alina did enjoy Tagaytay adventure.

  5. Justin,
Hahaha, those two old ladies keep pushing you to buy lots of Abocados..
Justin it seems like your girlfriend can't stand the meat department

  7. Ngtatanong pa lang nilalagay na sa plastic. Mga tinderanh to tlga.

  11. The bulalo in Mahogany market is the best bulalo and most affordable since the meat market is just there so the meat is always fresh (not frozen) . Too bad you didnt try it, hope you try it when you go back to Tagaytay. .

  12. its funny how project where is very close by with Mergim vlogs but they arent meeting HAHAHAHA

  13. please try to be more patient when dealing with locals. they mean well and are just overly eager to help and please foreigners. a firm but kind word is enough. can we have less frowning and complaining in front of them, please? thank you.

  14. Justin and Alina – Pakbet is a mix of local vegetables like eggplant, squash or pumpkin, bitter gourd, okra, string beans, tomatoes with fish paste and pork slowly cooked till all are done.

  15. Chicharong Bulaklak are intestines from.cow that is boiled till tender then fried until it's super crispy. It's more of a bar chow or best accompaniment of beer .
