During my autumn journey around Tohoku, I made a stop at Hiraizumi town in Iwate Prefecture. This town is known for its multiple National Treasure sites, and during my two-hour stop, I had the chance to visit the beautiful Motsu-ji temple. The temple features a stunning pond surrounded by maple trees, which were perfectly red on the day I visited.
To start my visit, I headed out from Hiraizumi station and walked to Kumanosansha shrine before making my way to Kanjizaiō-in pond and the neighboring Motsu-ji temple. After taking in the sights, I returned to the station and started walking towards the Takadachi-gikeidō pavilion. However, the walk took longer than I anticipated, so I ended up flying around instead.
Found 3 cats 😹😹😹

  1. According to temple records, Ennin (Jikaku Daishi, third head abbot of the Tendai sect), founded Chūson-ji in 850. Two and a half centuries later, Fujiwara, no Kiyohira relocated to Hiraizumi from Esashi (present-day Ōshū City) and built a temple complex here. Just for information

  2. Thank you for letting us know the features of different regions in Japan.
Your channel is like a window in Japan.
    Thank you again! 👍💯

  3. Every time I see one of these videos it makes me want to visit Japan even more! Hoping I'll be able to go soon.

  4. I find the history of Hiraizumi intriguing. Fortunately I was able to visit Hiraizumi this winter. It's a great place to walk and explore Japanese history. Our hotel was near Mount Kinkei (金鶏山) so of course we had to climb it.

  5. A clean park, a mowed lawn, and I live in Germany which is the dirtiest and laziest s***hole in Europe.

  6. Lol where's all the potholes in the road! Oh yeah! It's Japan not the US! I can't go quarter mile without potholes here. But hundreds of hours watching ram, I don't think I've ever seen one.

  7. Мальовничі краєвиди, файна погода. Гарний перехід від пішої зйомки до аеро. Дякую за занурення.

  8. How did you end up in Japan?

Your videos are great by the way. Always very consistent. There is another walking video YouTube I like called Real Japan. Have you ever thought of doing collaboration videos with other walking video YouTubers in Japan? Like a two part video where when yours ends you tap the next person and their video begins?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to make these videos they really help me relax.

  9. Природа в Японии удивительно ная. Хотелось бы сейчас побывать в этом месте. Спасибо за прогулку
