JAPAN Trip Vlog Pt 3 | 2 days in Kanazawa & Shirakawa-go – foodie trip 🍣, snowy mountain village ❄️

We’ve continued on our Hokuriku JR Pass trip and arrived at Kanazawa! This historical city is famous for its gold-leaf craft and well-preserved districts. 🥇 During our stay in Kanazawa, we took a day trip to an UNESCO heritage site in a mountain village called Shirakawa-go in Gifu. I really felt like I went back in time during this trip!

Our 1-week 🗾  itinerary: Tokyo Station (skipping Tokyo) → Nagano → Shibu Onsen (Yudanaka) → Toyama → Kanazawa (& Shirakawa-go) → Kyoto → Osaka.
