Discovering the Beauty of Hakone: Exploring Japan’s Picturesque Mountain Town

Hakone is a mountainous region in Japan known for its hot springs and scenic views of Mount Fuji. It’s a town located in Kanagawa Prefecture. It is situated approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) southwest of Tokyo. Hakone has been a popular destination since the Edo period (1603-1868).
We had about 24 hours to explore the Hakone Open-Air Museum, Owakudani volcanic valley, Ashi Lake, Pirate Ship, and Hakone Shrine!
