  1. Anywhere else on the planet I’d be worried about the purse but it’s Japan she’ll probably put a gift in the package for you

  2. Re. A&W from Gatineau Quebec (across the river from Ottawa)
We have A&W here but mostly in mall food courts.

  3. super fun episode, very relaxing, also that hotel room is super good, i mean, like you said if someone where to live there he would do some changes, but in general it's a very good layout, also that shisha thingy is super fun looking

  4. I live in Wyoming, and theres an actual A&W drive in that has been here since the 60s. They make their own A&W root beer and the carhop brings your food out to your car!

  5. got some a&w in norcal, usually found near major interstate freeway/rest stoppy areas. -filldos.

  6. It seems that everyone outside of the US thinks root beer tastes like medicine. It's not just Japan. We had an A&W just a few miles from me but it closed during the pandemic.

  7. There was an A&W/Long John Silvers when I lived in Round Lake, IL but it closed somewhere around 2014. Where I live now in Clovis, CA there's one 10 minutes from my home.

  8. Surprisingly there quite a few A&W through California. I don't feel like I see them much but never really ever have an urge to go.

  9. In North Carolina I don't recall ever seeing an A&W. I didn't know that was even a thing. I thought it was just a soda that you bought in a grocery store. Not a fan anyway. Give me a gingerale or cream soda instead.

Google says SC & WV has them but not NC or VA.

  10. There used to be a few A&Ws scattered around where I live in Massachusetts but they all closed. I do spend a lot of time in Canada and they are all over the place up there. I always swing through and eat there when ever I’m up north.

  11. It feels wrong your root beer seems to have ice. In Canada, A&W do not do that as to not water it down but instead they keep those mugs in a freezer. Unfortunately not all places have those (mainly they can't use them when it in a mall food court) and if you get takeout as then have to get in regular cups. I have several A%W in my community. However A&W Canada is not a part of same chain so have more variations than say a McD. Mozza burgers do not have pickles in Canada, it is beef patty, bacon, tomato, lettuce, thousand island type of sauce and mozzarella cheese which does melt on the burger.

  12. Back in the 60s, when our Little League team won a game, we would go the the B&K rootbeer stand for an icy mug and a hot dog. If we lost (which only happened 3 times in the 4 years I was on the team as an all star catcher from the first year) we went to the A&W stand and only got a rootbeer.

  13. Have you guys ever found Bireley's when you were in the states? I was in California for a while but don't remember whether I've seen it there or not. Why don't you try Million brand root beer(Japan domestic made) that is obtainable even in Tokyo, which is usually sold in the yellow vending machine with other Okinawa beverages, such as Sanpin-Cha.

  14. The aw in my town in Illinois closed a couple years ago. The building was getting really old and run down. I havemt seen plans to have another in town.
