Winderabandi Point, Ningaloo Beach Camp EP25

This is our favourite Ningaloo coast camp by far, come see our camp setup on the beach and all the great stuff we get up to, the SUP boards get off the car for the first time and we also get the Biscuit behind the boat and test the new 20Hp engine out. we catch some squid and fish for a great feast and enjoy having a fire every night with friends coming around for a few beers.

We announce a new partnership with an online camping shop that gives you guys a 10% discount shop wide. the guys at beach2bush are an West Australian family owned business that has just started out and want to supply only the best camping gear that is available. we will be testing and reviewing some of their gear to make sure it stands up to the test of kids and fulltime living. Not only do you guys get 10% off but $5 from every purchase using the 10% discount code Lappingtheisland will get donated to Clean up Australia crew to help with there mission to clean up Australia. whilst most YouTubers take that money we decided to donate our portion to this great mission, you can check out both of their socials and websites through the links below.

We are a family of 5 travelling Australia indefinitely in our new Lotus Trooper Caravan/RV and our 2021 F350 from Harrison F-Trucks. We will take you to many destinations and let you know what works for us and what doesn’t, so you don’t make the same mistakes.

We are from Perth Western Australia and want to see as many destinations as we can together as a family, we never take the easy road and if we see a track, we always wonder where it will lead us, so we generally take it to see where it leads.

Thanks for watching and reading if you have made it this far down, hope you enjoyed

  1. How do you guys get so lucky with your squids? I catch them off jetty’s at night and I could only get 4 or 5 max😢 Do you guys have any tips? Cheers🤙

  2. How long ago did you book all these sites? I had a look a few weeks ago and it seems 99.9% booked out for the next 6 months?

  3. Getting stuck on sand in $$$ fourwheel drive ,my old 2003 patrol never got stuck, spent 15 years in pilbara going beach fishing.New 4×4 withnew tec not good old 4×4

  4. Thanks, Winderabandi, another place to to put on our bucket list……Have had a scrubba bag for years. great for washing in a small amount of water. Works really well for only 2 of us. I bet there is lots of exercise using it for a family of 5……..

  5. Woohoo, after starting from the beginning a couple of weeks ago I’ve now made it to the finish line. Looking forward to the next episodes now ☺️

  6. Typical electronic 4wd setup, always forward a little and reverse a little for it to engage. Need the manual engagement to ensure it's in. Artesian water, taste it. It'll be fresh.

  7. Once again guys. Awesome video! Keep up the great work. Catch up one day next year if you guys are still travelling haha!

  8. Just stumbled across you guys on Insta. Looked you up on YouTube and saw this video. We must've arrived at North Lefroy just as you left. Spent 10 days there and could've easily spent another 10. Had a similar setup right on the beach. Weather was perfect. One windy day and that was it. Will go back to the beginning now and start chipping away. Love your work!!

  9. Been to Winderabandi many times, one of the best camping sites anywhere in Australia. I normally camp at site 27, all sand, have caught some nice fish off there, but lots of sharks though, but all sites are good. Driving down on the slope on these beaches is always tricky, as you say, very soft, so I always run my tyres down to 10 psi to 12 psi, but it does make it easier if it's in 4WD, hahaha.
As I said been there many times and have never notices that water flowing out of that hole, very strange.
