This matsuri yatai, (festival float) is right in front of the only working aqueduct left in Japan. The spot is breathtaking. There are waterfalls, suspension bridges, rice patties, and some of the coolest walking paths I found in Kyoto. It’s a great date spot for the romantic types. Picnic anyone?
