Hebron: The Reality of Israeli Settlement in Palestine // Behind The Wall

It’s widely known that there are Jewish settlements in Palestinian territory, but very few people know what the lives of people are actually like in these isolated districts.
I traveled to Hebron, a Palestinian city that has Israeli settlements right in the middle of the city itself, and managed to enter a Jewish neighborhood surrounded by barbed wire fences and checkpoints.
In this video, I’m going to share what I saw and experienced in this controversial section of Hebron.
This video is the second video of my Hebron trip, so if you haven’t seen the previous one, please check it out as well↓

  1. I would recommend reading A History of Israel by Howard Sachar. It's a very in-depth and balanced history book.

  2. Amazing video! As an Israeli I do wish to say that while you covered some of the history mentioning massacres and All, what you’re not covering is the suppression of the city to prevent more attacks. If Hebrew was to be completely demilitarized, no Jew could make it to the cave of patriarchs and pay. That’s why all these regulations you saw happened over time and not instantaneously. Once the potential for violence is gone I’m sure the regulations will go away too

  3. Very courageous and standing for Truth and Justice. I wonder what the young Zionist Jewish people of Isreal are fed that results in lifelong Blindness and Deafness to what is happening in Gaza…and never in the West Bank…..why would young Palestinian throws stones to defend themselves against live bullets……have you ever asked yourself this question….is it a sign of madness or a sign of desperation to be free.. to have your Dignity restored that you are willing to sacrifice your life that others like you might be freed.

  4. Hebron was a Jewish city since the begining of known history, They never prevented arabs from moving in.
In 1926 arabs committed a mass massacre of Jews in the city, and robbed their property.
The Brits, that occupied the region at the time decided that a reasonable solution is to: ethnically cleanse the city of Jews.
Now you call Jews living there "settlers" how?
If you don't like checkpoints, try to figure out why they are there in the first place.
A full symmetric solution is granting everyone full civil rights wherever they live, including Jews that were exiled out of arab countries.

  5. I usually concider Japanese people as decent and honest but you my friend are not one of those…
1…the Jewish ""setlement" in Hevron is a 4000 YEARS OLD one only that it was oppressed under muslim large majority for the past 1400 years …well now ITS BACK UNDER OUR RULE
2….yeah you dont understand those blockades and checkpoints but the Jews living there understand them perfectly and thats what trully matters
You christians will pay deeply when your day shall come for your support of the palestinian frontline muslims jihadis against Judeisme
    Joel 3
""For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."…🇮🇱🙏

  6. This is so heartbreaking 💔 😢 some humans are terrible. Free Palestine 🇵🇸 ✊🏽

  7. Bro comes from an island homogeneous colonial country like Japan and thinks he has the right to form an opinion on how Israel should control their own security. You my friend, are a joke! Just wait until China comes knocking on your door and make sure you keep that same energy when your people are threatened with extinction

  8. The Israeli officers were nice to you because they're nice, not because you're a foreigner! This video definitely is biased. Stay at the palestinian side and don't go back to Israel.

  9. You talk about an event from 94 but sont talk about the thousands of terror attacks arabs commit on Jewish civilians.
One sided cover my Japanese friend.

  10. Under Muslim rule, Jews were not allowed inside the tomb, and could only go up to the 7th step of the building

  11. There is no place called Palestine. It's too bad how the Arabs brought such grim violence and division to The Land. For that matter so have have Japanese terrorists with the attack at the Lod Airport in 1972.

  12. Israel illegals and Criminals settlements in Hebron. Hebron is Palestine forever and ever.

  13. Jewish "settlement"… Jews had lived in Hebron for thousands of years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1929_Hebron_massacre

The Hebron massacre refers to the killing of sixty-seven or sixty-nine Jews on 24 August 1929 in Hebron, then part of Mandatory Palestine, by Arabs incited to violence by rumors that Jews were planning to seize control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.[1] The event also left scores seriously wounded or maimed. Jewish homes were pillaged and synagogues were ransacked. Some of the 435 Jews who survived were hidden by local Arab families,[2] although the extent of this phenomenon is debated.[3] Soon after, all Hebron's Jews were evacuated by the British authorities.[4] Many returned in 1931, but almost all were evacuated at the outbreak of the 1936–39 Arab revolt in Palestine. The massacre formed part of the 1929 Palestine riots, in which a total of 133 Jews and 110 Arabs were killed, the majority of the latter by British police and military,[5] and brought the centuries-old Jewish presence in Hebron to an end.

But thank you for showing the Muslim side! I'd never be allowed there for my safety since I'm Israeli. In fact, it's very dangerous for me anywhere in Palestine. People who sneak in get attacked if someone figures out they are Israeli or Jewish.

Also, just FYI, that Israeli terrorist (the one who shot the mosque, I don't want to mention his name) is a terrorist and died as one. Scum.

  15. Israelis aren't "settlers" in Hebron, FFS. Hevron (correct pronunciation) is mentioned in the Torah. It's a Jewish city that Palestinians (read: Arab colonists) settled in. The Palestinians are the "settlers," not the Jews. And "Palestine" doesn't belong to Arab colonists, it belongs to Jews, the original, indigenous inhabitants. This is backed up by so much evidence — written history, archaeological evidence, and genetics, that if the subject were anything other than Jews, it would be so uncontroversial as to be beneath notice.

Shame on you for pushing a revisionist-historian false narrative that feeds into Arab colonialist, Islamic supercessionist propaganda.

  16. It looks like the Isreali occupation has created an apartheid system where non local people have easier movement that the Palestinians who were born there.

  17. Get your act together men !!! Bad info… most of Hebron is in the hands of more than 200.000 pally.s IDF is there to protect a few thousand Jews !!!

  18. Hebron is a Jewish city. Long long before Islam was invented, Jews lived there.

You say you are against Jewish “settlements. You say international law forbids Jews living , where Jews lived long before Arabs came and settled.

From you words, it is clear you are biased against Jews.

You are not a good person.

  19. Very immoral and dishonest presentation!! Half truths are worse than lies !! Your presentation is supporting racism and discrimination!!

  20. I have been to Hebron as well. I am sorry. But this is not true. The Jewish people were massacred here in 1929. Jews are not allowed in all areas either. You need to read up on your history. Yes, the Israelis watch. They have to. Otherwise, many people could be killed by the Arabs. Palestinians do not exist. They are Arabs. You need to find out when that term started being used. This is just wrong.

  21. The lie of Zionism is that European converts to Judaism are equal to native Semitic Palestinian Jews. It’s all part of the Western colonial plan. Just like with manifest destiny in America, Zionism is just another colonial ambition by the white man who puts on a kippah and claims to be descended from the 12 tribes of Israel.

  22. I'm Nepali and Thanks You for Showing The Truth, God Bless The Jews and God Save The Jews
    ♥️✡️🕎♥️

  23. You have made a very good documentary of Hebron. Thanks for showing so much. I have been in Hebron just for a couple of hours, the situation is very tense and unpleasant. Full of hate, religious extremism, one of the worst places I have ever been.

  24. I hope Israel takes the rest of the West Bank, and sends these liars back to Jordan.

  25. Very difficult, almost racist video. Mentioning the only one massacre of an Israeli at Machpelah, but no other, is hard and one sided. Not confirming the fact that almost since thousands of years Jews are living in Hebron is strange – it only needed some minutes of research. And of course, telling like bad the Israelis are but NOT SHOWING ONE SCENE where Israelis are doing something bad to Palestinians. But when you were traveling with a Palestinian and hearing it the whole time I understand, that at some point you believe it…
