Here are some footage from my first trip in Japan. I stayed one week in Kyoto and it was just surreal. I was flabbergasted with the way japanese society deals with tradition and modernity at the same time. I had the best summer ever, spending most of my time strolling in gardens and temples. Favorite moment was during the tanabata festival on the kamogawa river in Kyoto. The path along the river was illuminated and there were hundreds of bamboos planted there. I got the chance to hang a tanzaku on one of these bamboos. Magical night.
I hope I can go back to Japan soon, next year who knows ? 🙂
