We took the Iwakuni Castle Ropeway (岩国城ロープウエイ) to the top of the mountain where Iwakuni Castle is located. From there, it’s about a 10 minute leisurely stroll to the Castle itself. On the way up, we were treated to very nice views of Iwakuni, the Setouchi Inland Sea as well as Kintai Bridge (錦帯橋 – Kintaikyō.)
