Miyoshi, Tokushima – Iyanokazura Vine Bridge (祖谷のかずら橋)

Iyanokazura Bashi (aka Iya-no-Kazura Bashi – 祖谷のかずら橋) is a suspension bridge in Miyoshi, Tokushima (徳島県三好市) made of mountain vines that stretches 45 meters across at the center of a valley. It gave us quite an unsettling view of the water 14 meters below. Iyanokazura Bashi is rebuilt every 3 years, and is anchored to tall cedar trees at both ends.
