Itinerary:
・ Tokyo to Morioka Station: 2.5 hours – Shinkansen

  1. Frame of Travel is back! Let's make the first video of 2023 a good one!

Thanks for your patience all this time, I aim to hit the ground running with videos and streams this year! More Travel, More Frames, MORE VIDEOS!

I'll be working on the next one very soon!

Leave a comment and let me know your favorite part of the video or if you would be brave enough to explore these ruins!

Also special thanks to Quinlan for inviting me out to Iwate and guiding me throughout the area!

  2. You seem to have visited a lot of the places I went to back in November. So great seeing the contrasting views. Did you manage Aizu as well?

  3. Great video Victor! Such a beautiful location with the snow creating that soft white blanket. Look forward to more 😁

  4. Nice to see a video of the two greats together. Didn't expect a video of you two together when I suggested to you on Twitter to ask him for Northern ideas

  5. Great video, can really see that you've grown as an editor! The ruins were great but my favorite part was Yamadera. The climb was definitely worth it! I hope you get the shot next time!

  6. Turns out you take the absolute best, most beautiful b-roll! Not super surprising based on the photos you take, perhaps, but a lot of it still made me go ooh and ahh :). And it was wonderful to see your happiness at Matsuo! Not unlike how I felt seeing the footage from Yamadera. Having visited there once on a summer's day, I love it there too and it's wild how different and yet equally beautiful it looks in the snow! I do think I'd bring my microspikes for the stairs though – so much more relaxed that way 🙂

  7. Amazing views, and great video! Excited to see what you have in store for this year. ✨

  8. Fantastic video. Yamadera was definitely my favourite part, what a beautiful place. Thank you for making the climb up for everyone's benefit.

    Anyways… great video!

  14. I'd love to see the contrast between the views in the winter and a different time of year… or maybe every time of year? 😀

  15. I was in awe with the images of the mine–especially the interior shots of the snow covered wood shelving. I've seen videos of Yamadera but, nothing compares to what you captured! Absolutely stunning. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks
