  1. I have a similar wooden geisha doll like the one behind you,but mine has a nara deer on and a temple .Hope Japan starts to move on with the rest of the world when it comes to covid..its one HUGE step.Thank you for your Knowledge nathan.

  2. Teacher sstating that they are worried for safety of children is a woke NPC response, that’s why it’s one teacher not many. University student is no different, another woke NPC who was probably a student of the teacher. The world has woken up. Those statements belong back in 2020-2021

  3. 🌸 I’m so excited to be going for Sakura season!!! Three years after I was supposed to be there for cherry blossoms! 🌸

  4. I was fortunate enough to finally visit Japan in last November and December. I literally took (by mere chance because my ticket had been bought on a whim in February 2022), the first BA flight after BA's London Haneda route resumed. Perfect koyo season weather. Yet, the mask thing started to bother me after two weeks… Wearing a mask in a garden in Tokyo or climbing Fushimi Inari is pure nonsense. I truly hope it changes. Otherwise, it was a life-changing experience. I would love to do Sakura season, too. Maybe someday. Good luck, and cheers. Thank you, Nathan, for your emotional support during the "dark times." Wish you all the best.

  5. I still think there will be restrictions on Chinese entering Japan, Covid is rife in China and many deaths.

  6. 🌸So I want to give you an up date; I’m planning on going to Japan again maybe the end of this year or beginning of next. It’s been a while since we spoke I was going to attend the police academy and put travel off, but unfortunately the police academy where I live has shut down. All that being said you now have to be hired full time to be a police officer, as where before part time officers could pay for the academy on their own. However, now I can plan to travel again!!!! Next stop Akihabara!!! 🎉✈️🌏🇯🇵🏯💴🍡🍣🗾. Then Osaka!!!

  7. I'm already in Japan for 90 days without a visa. The visa system is already back to the way it was pre-pandemic. Since I was vaccinated there were no quarantine measures.

  8. Well, after 3+ years of moving my flights, I’m finally able to get into Japan and will arrive next month. 2 weeks to go south to Hiroshima then north to Sapporo and stop in between. I loathe masks. However, out of respect for the host country I will wear one.
If you see me struggling to figure out the train schedule, at the station please feel free to offer advice. This plea goes to anyone reading.

  9. 🌸love it and can’t wait to get to Japan. Not worried about anything, just be respectful of others 🌸

  10. There is no "fully vaccinated " with the covid vaxes… you'll never have immunity. I have no desire to go to Japan when the Japanese are surgically attached tp their surgical masks.

  11. I'm planning a trip this spring, but really really hate masks. Not just using them myself (I don't think they help at all in most situations), but not being able to see other people's mouths and expression. Is it that terrible if at least I use it the least possible? It's required by law at the moment to wear it indoors?

  12. 🌸My favourite place in the whole wide world ❤😍, i'm so in love with the country's scenery, culture and traditions. I can't wait to go there❤🌸
