Mount Tsurumi is a 1 375 meter high mountain that overlooks Beppu. There’s a ropeway that takes you near the summit where you can find a small park, a shrine, and walking paths that take you to observation decks. It was foggy when I went there but the view was still very nice. I definitely enjoyed the colorful autumn leaves and it was my first time to see winter cherry blossoms. Swear I’m gonna go back and hike up to Mt. Tsurumi next time.

We're planning to go to Beppu Ropeway in first week of January and we're hoping for a snowy summit. Thanks to your vlog I learned that the summit might be hard for a senior to hike and that we should go there early since it gets dark already at around 5PM. Arigatou gozaimasu! Looking forward to many more videos 🙂
