I walked through Snow Monkey Park.
Snow Monkey Park is the only facility in the world where you can see wild monkeys bathing in hot springs.
It is more famous overseas than in Japan.
I visited the park just after it opened, so there were few people and little monkey activity.
The number of visitors starts to increase around 10:00 AM, so if you want to see the monkeys in a relaxed atmosphere, I recommend you to visit the park right after it opens.
Since the facility is located deep in the mountains, it is not accessible by bus or car.
If you are a first time visitor, it may be difficult to get there, so please refer to the video below for directions from Nagano Station to Snow Monkey Park.
