That's great news! Discrimination generally leaves a bad after taste. It's gotten so mild that now would be the time to "let it rip" and get everyone t and b cell immunity and the really lucky ones have the memory stored into their bone marrow and be immune to severe illness for life.
With due respect last end Nov to early Dec, my wife was at the arrival on visa in suvabhani airport, when she enter the queue it was chaotic and eventually she was given 2 options , 1st option of THB 2k or 2nd option of THB2.2k and a queue number afterward , so she get on with the 2.2K queue number, and guess what , they didn't even bother to check her itenary nor her vaccine cert and simply stamp and let her in, my wife is holding on to a china passport but she is a singapore PR, just sharing my experience

I came here 4 days ago. There were zero tests or verifications.
china has had 250 million new covid cases in 20 days-even if they say 5k a day–they lie big time-yeah let them in for extra money–bad idea
I was here in Chiang mai at the beginning of the panini and there were direct flights from Wuhan to chiang mai every day! At a time where people couldn't leave Wuhan to travel to other parts of China.
There were 3 people per day arriving with it.
Today Chinese people account for about 90% of the people getting off of direct flights into Chiang mai.
Sinovac clearly didn't do anything. China is falling apart right now yet… when some countries asked China to provide pcr for all passengers China called it rac1st and the UK Italy and a few others u-turned.
I think if Thailand is going to to ask for anything at all. It should be from passengers arriving from countries where the big C is still raging and right now the only country I know of that is experiencing that is China.
I will never buy a Thailand plane ticket or accomidation again.
I was ok in December 2022, everything went well passing through customs, I hope this will continue in May 2023 when I visit Thailand again. I’m coming from Hong Kong, UK citizen.

The last flight I did with easyJet to Egypt they had a mask policy, flight out only stewards were wearing them, not the pilots, and only 1 passenger, flight back 2 weeks later no one was wearing them from the remarks from the emirates flight I think people are seeing through the porky pies!

Hey Chris, we arrived at BKK Suvarnabhumi on Tuesday from Seoul via Boston.
There was no mention of Covid & no hassles at all. Immigration took finger scans & facial photo, but otherwise smooth sailing. We expected to provide proof of vax, insurance, travel docs, etc, all which we had handy, but went through fairly quickly without needing any. Total time off plane, through immigration, luggage pick-up & taxi took less than an hour.
We got a kiosk ticket for the taxi & had to negotiate for a ride downtown since the cabbie didn’t run the meter & it was 2 am. Overpaid, but didn’t feel like trying to find another ride, but whatever — it was convenient & a fraction of what we paid for a similar ride in Boston from the airport. All in all, a very good travel entry, especially since this maiden voyage was initially planned & rescheduled twice…3rd time is a charm! Thanks man, keep up the good work. Lisa & Joe, Fort Lee, NJ
AnyOne Who's A Seasoned World Traveller (which does take time) Coming From The West/A Western Based Country And/Or Who Has Lived In A Foreign Country Continuously For Circa 5-10 Years Already Knows Exactly 'The Whys' Of What I Mentioned About thailand : there were quite a number of people Coming From The West/'Western Based Countries' that were misleading told and/or mislead into thinking (first really starting circa 35 years ago) that "thailand is cheap/cheaper/cheapest while being very easy for a lot of things" & then, they come to (Very Painfully) realize that one 'gets' what one 'pays'/'paid for' & actually ends up in-the-longer/long-run 'losing'/'losing Big Time in thailand' on-all-on-fronts & 'those same people' then regret why they didn't instead 'Invest Their Initial & Further Resources' In Countries Like Singapore & Malaysia From-The-Very-Beginning (even if it meant paying a little more initially after doing some indepth research) with Countries Like Singapore & Malaysia Returning Their Initial & Further Investments @ Least 100x Fold Back while being Happier, Safer & Stable as well : even in those First 5 Continuous Years Living In Singapore & Malaysia. See, Countries Like Singapore & Malaysia & The Singaporean & Malaysian People Are Actually Genuinely Sincere, Caring & Fair Towards Its Expats, Foreign Visitors, Foreign Tourists, etc.,

I flew into Bangkok from Dehli last night. What's crazy is that after all that fuss, it's one of the easiest entries I've ever had. They barely check anything. Not even bothering with the arrival form at the moment.
Any update on this? Are there tests on arrival now or being setup ?

Actually, I have planned to visit at April and I got very confused, should I buy flight ticket or not! Hopefully Thai government will change easy for tourists, frankly speaking, Thai government made a lot of money from tourists last year.

What do you mean by "happy endings"?
Arrived in Thailand yesterday. No issues. Though If you connect via Korea prepare to have a mask. We came from US and were requires to put on mask when we entered Korean airspace. Took Korean Air from Seoul to Bangkok, mask was required for entire flight. No big deal, just an fyi.
As if the injections made a difference in the protection or transmission.. unbelievable that the whole world has been dealing with those lies.
