Yeah, sounds very similar to what I end up spending on average. I aim for accomodation at 70 euro average per day, sometimes staying in cheaper hostels, then fancier places on other days. This month’s trip is the first time I didn’t need to book hostels, as hotels were still crazy cheap at the time I booked, shortly after Japan reopened.
I'm going on april 22nd and I can't wait … 97 more days to wait
Hey Nathan! I loved the video man!. I will go this week to Japan for just a week with my wife to see how it goes first 😂 then we’ll go back for a couple more weeks. We don’t think of eating fancy but defiantly stay around the Tokyo area for our first time . Do you think $2000 is good for 6 days in Tokyo ?
Moneky Emoji. Side note I just booked another branch of that hotel for my short Tokyo stay, great rates. I've been looking at different places to budget eat and shop for things to bring home xD. First time visiting so I'm probably going to go overboard
Going April 4th, I'm super pumped 🙂
🐒Thanks for sharing Ninja, my JAL return flight in Oct was $1700 , I have a flight booked in March with ANA for $1700 , I couldn't find cheaper as a direct flight , I'm lucky to live in Australia as far as going to Japan is concerned because we can go direct , but I did notice a large amount of options going not direct which were considerably cheaper, some with huge layovers where you would need to have a sleep in between and some with crazy times where you'd arrive in the middle of the night then connect with another flight 2 hrs later and get no sleep that night , also at the time I got a hotel room for $32 a night everything was incredibly cheap, also your eating style is similar to me , food can be very cheap and good 🐒 🇯🇵✈️ great video
Thank you for being so candid with your Japan travel expenses. So helpful! I'm so excited to return to Japan in July I can hardly stand it!!! 🙂
Informative video, I was worried that the 100,000 yen that I have for spending money wouldn’t have been enough but now my mind is at ease. 🐵
I've got a week left here in japan before I head back to the states and honestly I saved WAY more money for this trip than I needed. It's just not as expensive to do the things I want to do than I expected. 🐵
An extensive breakdown of this sort of depth is much needed. This really lets people know that Japan is within their grasp and they can easily scale up or down to cater a trip specifically to their needs. Great job, Nathan!
🐵
How informative! 🥰
🐵🐵🐵 loved it! I do usually stagger my outlay when booking. I book the flights 1st then save a bit for added extras. With COVID being and issue I opted to book my accommodation but pay when I get there. That gave me extra time to save more money.
Nice Video, Mr Ninja Monkey Man! ^)^🐒🐒🐒
