I was just at Perth Airport to Taiwan!
I found CX staff answering calls were unprofessional. Several years ago, I called to make a flight change, which was allowed within 24 hours of booking. I was sternly told that no more change would be allowed and I would be charge a fee should I try to make another change. I learned later that Hongkongers are often abrasive and that was how they interact with some customers. I have avoided flying with CX thereafter.
Edit: Perhaps that was because I was flying economy class. They'd probably treat first and business passengers with more civility.

I live in Hong Kong and I fly Cathay Pacific so many times that I can’t remember being on other plane companies also because I have bad memory

Hey Jayden, love your videos. You've mentioned you are self connecting. Could you give a few tips in one of your videos about where you are looking for the best tickets and how you plan the connections.
Dont know much about the seat but service has definitely gone down hill. Last time I flew Cathay on coach was years ago, 773, same route, the food back then was WAY BETTER. Crews were friendly, they came around and checked in with us, making sure we were well fed. Now? It is completely a different story. Ridiculously expansive ticket with 3 star service. Doesn’t worth for the money.
Wow Perth is absolutely stunning! Australia, UK, and the European countries really are sooo much nicer, more organised, kinder and more civilised than HK!

Nice seat, terrible food. Looks like some cheap stuff from Cha Chaan Teng. It does not justify for the price to be honest!
I flew my first A350-1000 on etihad and oh man what a plane it was the take off was very powerful thanks to engines
As always great review. So sad to see HK so quiet and those parked . Hopefully Cathay can go back to pre covid capacity and service they were my 1st preference. But since covid it's SIA as CX do not service Adelaide.
Ps. Their breakfast meal is so much better than SIA chicken sausage breakfast.
Very fascinated about the a350-1000 flight from Hong Kong to Perth. It looks as though the plane landed on the western side of the runway. I noticed that your video didn’t have any footage of the plane flying over Optus Stadium!

Hi Jayden, as a frequent flyer based in Australia what programme/airline do you recommend for long haul business flights? I used to prefer Qantas the national carrier but based on their recent customer service and other factors I am a bit hesitant to go with Qantas any further. How do you rank ANZ, Qantas, SIA and Cathay? Thanks heaps Jayden.
The seats looked more comfortable than the A359. Btw, I'm Au's Aviation, got my new YouTube sorted✈️✈️. I'll be flying the A350-900 from LHR to hkg in march, looking forward to it and creating a quality vid

Ngl i thought A350-1000 only flew highest demand routes
