  1. The whole wall in the warp tunnel is because it is so short. In Japan it’s a 30-45sec walk inside that tunnel, much longer. So the cost for a full video wall in Japan would be the same cost as a new feature.

  2. FYI it sounds wierd since it's actually in Burbank not Hollywood, also maybe just Nintendoland California

  3. At Shakes Malt Shop do they add ice to make their smoothies? They are much better if they are made with yogurt and frozen berries and bananas. Ice waters smoothies down and most places make them this way.

  4. As a huge Nintendo fan, I honestly think the Power Up Bands look like junk, and don't really want one. I'd only get it to do the interactive stuff, which doesn't seem worth it. Like, to compare to the wands, Harry Potter fans not only get to interact with the lands but then it's a cool collectable to display when they get home. I would never care to display the Power Up Band as a piece of merchandise itself. Just feels like a huge mistake. I understand they probably didn't want it to be a glove, which is the obvious choice, because they didn't want it to be a thing you have to wear over your hand that would get hot, but they could have made it something hand held like the wands, like how about classic items like a coin, super mushroom, fire flower, etc? which then can be displayed as a collectable once you bring it home.

  5. Cannot wait to go here with my combat knife and use it to beat the crowds and earn points for each takedown. It's the best way to get through the new land with no wait!

  6. I'm happy for Universal Hollywood to get their version of Super Nintendo World but I just can't wait for the one at Universal Orlando to open up so we can finally experience the Donkey Kong area

  7. And somewhere there is Disney exec wondering how to do something similar but behind a $10,000 pay wall

  8. We do have to keep things in perspective though as much as the Super Nintendo world may be lacking in Hollywood due to space and size limitations, it is infinitely more creative and themed than anything Disney has created in a long while

  9. Jesse Schell, yeah that's a POWERFUL name in the gaming industry when it comes to these sorts of innovative interactivity experiences. Would get paid a lot of money to give speeches about this sort of things to the other companies despite his companies portfolio for 'real games' being immensely lacking in comparison.
The man is a former imagineer so for a long time was the go to expert for Disney and other parks for these kinds of experiences, his gaming company did the game parts of Midway Blast.
I have long said Disney made a mistake not bringing him in to work on the Falcon ride. The dude knows how to properly imagineer a game experience with an attraction, so any input he has on this land is worth a lot.

  10. The monster hunter thing was a typo
It was meant to be "iceborne" not "icebone". It's a VR goggles experience, no idea beyond that.

  11. Ok, so the other channel still exists? I never knew you had two. Damn I'm slow. 😂 Get the Disney crap off the desk. I've always been a much bigger fan of Uni. Looking forward to Epic here in Orlando. This vid gives me an idea what Nintendo might look like. Nice vid.

  12. If anyone could tell me where the info came from saying that there are no reservations needed for opening day came from that would be awesome! Im going to the Park for the first time for this and want to be sure I can actually get into it.

  13. Thank you sir for this update. My family and I are on the edge of our seats and waiting for annual pass holder previews as well as your coverage of Super Nintendo World. Although the version we will be getting in Hollywood is but a small sampling of what we will get, the hopes that Osaka and Florida's additional Donkey Kong-themed lands are high since they seem to be very well thought out conceptually.
Hoping to see you and your teams in the parks.

  14. 4:55 whoa the power band is 40 buck's wow that lot but it kina understand able because it have computer mic in there so on

  15. so platinum pass holders dont need a reservation?
i heard if you dont have a reservation you wont be able to go ing the land.
