  1. Great video guys , I also use some of these tips especially the walking one , it's definitely better to not press start when walking it gives you a birdseye view and better direction

  2. Awesome video and info on our trip I used apple map It's much more simple to use and straight forward does 80% of what Google does google at time was more confusing, to look for options to eat use google maps has way more options than apple, Apple uses less data and drains your battery less and Google is just uses way to battery, that is what I found on my trip, wish you had this video out before our trip because it would have help so much, keep up the good work happy new year

  3. Only you missed is how to actually order a taxi if you're not at a train station already. Otherwise, great video!

  4. Great tips I have a suggestion for a video you could do I see a lot of people complaining about clothing sizes if you could find a bunch of clothing stores that have Gaijin clothing sizes that would be pretty useful. Happy New Year.

  5. thanks for the video Harblife. I did not know quite a few of the tips especially tips 9 and 10 and not pressing start for the walking. the last one i did when i was in tokyo and boy was i confused or disoriented many times!

  6. I'm visiting Japan for the first time in 2023 and this video is super helpful. Makes getting into Tokyo from the airport slightly less intimidating!

  7. You are truly a legend when it comes to Japan travel and making people feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your service – I watch your videos even as a confident traveller to Japan cause even I learn something new! Great work as always!!!

  8. the active walking map sure does make things confusing. cant remember how many times it went bonkers on me… the passive screen worked best for me. i cant stress enough to follow the recommended exit, save you alot of confusion.

  9. Google maps is a must! In my experience it was pretty awful in Shibuya due to going in and out of buildings. Lucky I think Shibuya was pretty easy to navigate after a couple days without it. One thing I wish I did know before going, its ok if you miss a train (unless its the last one of course), just take the next one. I missed the first train I needed to take when I arrived and it was pretty stressful for no reason lol.

  10. Iโ€™m traveling with family do each one have to file one ? Or one is good for all of them. Iโ€™m taking about fast track service and they are over 18

  11. I have a question. Is it true you have to pay all your medical bills in order to travel to Japan? I read on a Japan safety website that itโ€™s possible to get rejected from flying if you have unpaid medical bills.

  12. Google maps train timings are a life saver. So accurate and trains are never late in Japan. Same for buses. Seeing the intervals for special rapid/limited exp/shinkansen (and their respective types like nozomi etc) makes planning a lot easier

  13. Is there a possibility that all of the restrictions because of Covid will be removed before May in Japan? A PCR-Test at the airport costs more than 200 euros over here at the moment. Have you heard anything? greets

  14. Thanks for sharing. This is helpful for my upcoming trip. Any way to know if youโ€™re taking a JR Rail route? Iโ€™ll be taking day trips from Osaka to Nara and Kyoto and will have a 7 day JR pass. Iโ€™ll also be using it to go from Osaka to Tokyo twice.

  15. I just landed in Tokyo yesterday and itโ€™s my first time here. I can not thank you enough for your past videos I had binged the past month. The tips and everything worked wonders and this one tops it off

  16. Thank you. I will visit Japan in spring and heard that jorudan is useful. If I use Google Maps, do I still need jorudan?

  17. Wow thank you so so so much on teaching us how to use the Japan trainโ€ฆ I get confused and lost everytime time Iโ€™m in Japanโ€ฆ glad google map is so detailed to use in Japan

  18. What a amazing video!!
I'd like to interview to you asking about your experiences about Japan if you are interested

  19. Hello my youtuber friend, how are you doing? well, i am traveling to Japan in March 2023 from usa. so, i am preparing anything that i can before traveling. is there anything i need to know or need to do intern of documentation when i arrived to Japan (airport), such as immigration, registration, etc… hope to hear from you soon, thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

  20. If you love Anime and Japanese Culture, so you will love my music too! I'm a composer ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. That is so true!! Thank you for this information!!! I used google map when I was in Tokyo a few weeks ago and it really helped me!!!

  22. Never been in Japan. It is definitely on my bucket list. Meanwhile I enjoy it through your videos. You just got a new subscriber!!!!

  23. If your traveling to Japan ( especially the first time)
Be sure to download the map of EACH part of Japan you will visit .
( off line map ) before you go there .
    Or
Be sure to rent a pocket wifi that most companies will send to your hotel for free ,with return envelopes and postage included ( can usually be left with hotel staff for return .
Plan B .. Japan is tricky to find free wifi as it's not free and available everywhere like it might be in your country . Buy a DATA SIM CARD for your phone that includes cell service . Those you can buy online and have sent to your house or you can pick them up directly that any airport upon arrival. Usually they have staff on sites to help you set up.
Then your good to go !!
Great video with loads of great tips . Welcome to Tokyo
