The Nebuta Festival in Amori, Japan is one of the biggest festivals in Japan! People travel from all over to see it every August. The festival is held on the same dates every year: Aug. 2nd-7th.
If you want to go, be sure to reserve hotels AT LEAST 6-12 months in advance! Hotels fill up fast! We stayed at Kenko Land (健康ランド) at Shin-Aomori Station.
