This travel vlog explores Japan’s iconic bamboo forest in Kyoto’s neighborhood of Arashiyama! Arashiyama is a must-visit neighborhood full of many attractions. We visited the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Tenryu-ji Temple, Togetsu-kyo Bridge, Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama, and even a hidden foot bath onsen at the Randen Station.

There are many wonderful ways to immerse yourself in Japanese culture here. We drank local matcha at this lovely family store – it was truly an unforgettable experience! There is a lot of different Japanese street foods to try such as Pickles, croquette, and ichigo daifuku. At the station, we also saw musicians performing the shamisen and the koto. There are so many wonderful things to do and experience in Arashiyama, Kyoto!
