We missed a digital stamp rally but decided to hunt out some cool looking manholes around Tokyo anyways!

  1. The manhole covers are really interesting. Tokorazawa Sakura Town has some the light up, too.

  2. It was difficult to find the manhole. Thank you for your hard work. A few years ago, on a TV program, there was a foreigner who came all the way to Japan looking for manholes.🙂

  3. Omg I thought the normal ones were pretty enough. One has been my phone bg since 2018z.

Oh and I LOVE oronamin C. Have you tried their recipes on there web page? They are actually pretty good. It’s also great with gin

  4. Is manholes design a specific Japanese thing? For me it is just something that has to be there to cover something below it. to protect us form falling in a hole??

  5. Can confirm that is a cat in the Bear/Cat manhole cover. It is from the anime 'March Comes in Like a Lion' which is about professional shogi players, hence the shogi pieces around it.

  6. ERIC Have you seen the guy making TShirts from Manhole covers. You are sitting on a goldmine Brother!!!!!!!!

  7. You guys have started a new Christmas tradition….every time kyde or Eric says manhole in the video you take a drink of spiked eggnog. Please remember to make a manhole video next Christmas…..😂

  8. $12 to eat something amazing is not a lot of money.
You don’t have to justify what you really just enjoy it!
For a man your height you eat like a bird. Started join your food experiment, venture out of your box. Much more interesting that way.

  9. Japanese Men holes are so pretty. New York Men holes are ugly, filled with rats and smells like sewers.

  10. Our manhole covers are boring, just writing on it to tell you what kind of access is under it. Electrical, gas, water etc. These are awesome!

  11. Eric, what's the deal with the beanie's that don't fit your head? PS, I miss the " Papa Smurf red hat. 🎄 Happy Holidays from Texas.

  12. I know how JAXA tests their rockets horizontally. It's quite interesting.

As it happens I do sometimes work for a private space company, X = awesome. If you know what I mean. I also work with NASA, ESA, and JAXA. Cool stuff.

No rocket going to space ever goes straight up. It wouldn't be fast enough or have enough fuel. Earth's gravity is intense. It takes a lot of delta v to get out of the atmosphere and to be able to stay in orbit.

  13. What a fun video! Did you also know about Ousaki, Tokyo Osaki Station's mascot? It has a perpetually furrowed brow, revealing constant sadness.

  14. That’s weirdly interesting… I wonder who the first manhole artist was and how the convinced people to make it a thing. Pretty cool

  15. COOL manholes…….. the manholes here where I live read …….. "Edison"….. "sewer"…… or "made in Mexico"
    LOL!!!!! 😂
Merry Xmas Kyde and Eric and everyone on YOUTUBE!!!!?

  16. It's cool that you can take the cow pills and they immediately work, no waiting a half hour or something.

  17. @8:53: "Don't mind me, I'm just passing through here… Sumimasen, just passing through (please don't eat me…) Oh wait, do you have food? maybe some tayaki? you look like someone that eats a lot of tayaki ok never mind, I just remembered I have somewhere to be… ( that's one scary dude)"
@21:11: I am not into sumo, but it's pretty cool that you guys got to see Hakuho (one of the top, what, 2, 3? most successful/legendary yokozuna of all time) in the flesh.
    🙏

  18. I love checking out the Pokemon Manhole covers that can be found across Japan.

Also, I imagine that the Hokusai manhole cover was to commemorate the opening of the Hokusai Museum that can be found in the Ryogoku district.

  19. There's certainly the vibe of The Birth of Venus by Botticelli in the thumbnail for this video. Without the nudity or seashells

  20. I’m glad that I’m not the only one fascinated with the man hole covers. I thought it might look silly to the locals taking pictures with my tail up. Beppu had “tiles” that were descriptive of nearby sites.

  21. I would just like to say that the em🐻‍❄️rassing pun is appreciated:) Happy holidays and all that, folks, you’re supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

  22. So cool video i remember some in Nagoya city Merry xmass you two keep on good videos from Montreal quebec Canada. Marc

  23. Collecting trading cards and finding the manholes seems like a surprisingly fun way to spend a day. Hope we see more vids around this topic. I know there are a lot more to collect.
