We shot some B-Ball in West Philly, and angered a Brooklyn gangster (How NOT to Travel America #3)

*Watch with subtitles and in HD for full effect*

Our comical boating chapter was over, and it was time to head through giant metropoli of New York and Philly. The plan was to lay low and recover in Bougie Brooklyn, but quite the opposite happened. Another mad night out ended in a 4am street football session which could have ended very badly indeed. In Philly we made amends by doing the most Philly things possible, before heading back out into the countryside to hunt for some Amish people and try our hand at hitchhiking.

  1. Happy to see you in my neck of the woods outside frederick and cannot wait for the next installment!

  2. Hi Tom, good stuff as per. Just watched your 'How many European cities can I name' vid and you gotta do an updated version, you were so close to 500!

  3. the taking off the shoes is a show of arms, like taking off jewelry. he didn't wanna scuff the jays when fighting. really too bad you guys didn't get the escalation on camera tho, that would've been top tier footage.

  4. Every time I've been to 30th Street Station, I've been deafened by a car horn at that exact spot. It never fails. It has happened so often that I believe the city has a car horn placed somewhere in the area and they set it off whenever there are people leaving the station. 😂

  5. This whole travel across America thing is just you and your dull pal going on a gay lads holiday with fuck all exciting happening lol, downvoted and reported.

  6. In NY, and most of the United States at large, kicking someone with shoes on is 'assault with a dangerous instrument' resulting in a second degree felony assault charge (at least) whereas kicking without shoes on, generally, would fall under a misdemeanor third degree assault charge, 'simple assault', as no instrument is used beyond your body. I'm no NY City prosecutor, but that is the thinking at least.

  7. Its so wild to me that at the exact same time I was on almost the exact same journey (Maine to Florida) and I made all the same stops, even visited the Amish in PA lol wish I could've met them and assisted on their journey down
Edit: my van broke down and an Amish mechanic helped me fix it. He let me shower in his home and gave me a 1/4 pound smoked brisket. Incredible hospitality. Also when they cross the river on the bridge you can see an older bridge in the background. There is a waterfall at that one, strickler falls, and I swam there and looked across that pretty river.

  8. Very boring video sorry but as a YouTube viewer that your algorithm reached I liked it to help you since it’s Christmas but man was this boring

  9. The girls were ready to sleep with the guy looking for a fight. Such wild fatherless animals. No wonder that their literacy rate is so low at 30%

  10. LMAO you actually described something as "homely". It has a completely different connotation in America. It's used more like ugly and plain rather than cosy and comfortable.
