Exploring ALL you can do at Japan's Nakasendo Post Town Narai Juku

If you want to have the same experience we had in this video, please have a look at Michael’s tours on Airbnb: https://bit.ly/NaraiTour

Narai-Juku is one of the few towns in Japan that still has the same townscape it had in the Edo period, when Samurai strolled its streets.
Lying on the Nakasendo, an important route between Edo (Tokyo) and Kyoto, Narai-Juku was one of the 69 post towns along the way, just before the steepest and most exhausting part of the route.
Rich with history and also local handicraft, I made my way to the town in the Kiso valley, trying replace a Japanese item dear to my heart, but close to the end of its life.
Follow me and a local friend on this Japan documentary through Narai-Juku.
