Trivia: Actually this is my 2nd take. I went to Shinjuku in November to shoot this video but I stopped filming in the middle and went home. Because there WERE illuminations on the trees but some were not lit yet. I guess it’s because of the power shortage we are facing this winter. They prepared the lights but they decided to postpone till December, I guess… And this time, I made sure the illuminations were lit but the Suica Penguin Square was not lit yet at the time it’s supposed to be lit. I asked an employee of JR Shinjuku Station, and he said they decided to shorten the illumination hours. Is it also due to the power shortage?
