Osaka is more than good food, Osaka Castle, solo travel, Umeda Sky Bldg. The Amazing Japan . Part 3.

When you travel to Japan, you know what to expect from Tokyo or Kyoto. These are very distinctive cities. But in Osaka the vibe is different. People tend to be more relaxed and easygoing. It is an all-in-one city, it has everything, from Temples to ultra-modern buildings from colorful streets full of neon signs with quality restaurants to castles, even Universal Studios is there. I had a great time in Osaka. From Kyoto to Osaka, the Shinkansen will take you in less than 3 hours, and from Kyoto in less than 12 minutes.
The best Okonomiyaki is served at “Chibo Okonomiyaki restaurant”. Do not forget to visit Umeda Sky Building and of course “Shitennoji”, a Buddhist temple.
My favorite hotel in Osaka was: “Welina Hotel Premier” on Shinsaibashi. This hotel is excellent. clean and modern and a walking distance to Dotonbori.
