I recently moved to Hokkaido and the first place I wanted to hike was KAMUI MINTARA in the Daisetsuzan range. KAMUI MINTARA means “The Playground Of The Gods” in the Ainu language.
In mid-September, when the mountain began to change colors, I traveled around Mt. Tomuraushi, which is said to be the innermost part of Daisetsuzan National Park.
