【Doctor-Heli】
医師をいち早く救急現場に連れていくヘリコプターのこと。機内には初期治療に必要な医療機器や医薬品が装備・搭載してあり、基地病院の敷地内等で待機して出動要請に応えます。現場に到着後は、傷病者に対しフライトドクターが速やかに治療を行い、適切な医療機関へ搬送します。 早期に治療を開始できることが、患者を医療機関に搬送することを目的としている救急車と大きく異なります。ちなみに、ドクターヘリ［Doctor-Heli］は和製英語です。英語ではAir Ambulance、あるいはHEMS［Helicopter Emergency Medical Service］といいます。

【Doctor-Heli】
Doctor-Heli is a helicopter that takes doctors to the scene of an emergency as quickly as possible. The aircraft is equipped with the medical equipment and medicines necessary for initial treatment, and waits on standby at the base hospital premises or elsewhere to respond to a dispatch request. Upon arrival at the scene, the flight doctor provides immediate treatment to the injured and sick and transports them to the appropriate medical facilities. The ability to start treatment at an early stage differs significantly from ambulances, whose purpose is to transport patients to medical facilities. Incidentally, Doctor-Heli is a Japanese word. In English, it is called Air Ambulance or HEMS [Helicopter Emergency Medical Service].

Beautiful place for red autumn leaves near Mount Fuji
One of the most popular spots to see red leaves in Japan is the Maples Corridor or “Momiji Kairou” at Lake Kawaguchi. Momiji means red leaves and a “Momiji Matsuri” festival is held every year from the end of October to mid November with road stalls and romantic night illumination from sunset until 10pm, so it is a popular destination during November for people to see both Mount Fuji and red leaves.
