Here’s the first part of my trip to Kitakyushu and Shimonoseki.
After going to Kitakyushu, we passed through the Kanmon bridge to reach the Honshu island by bus. The return back to Kitakyushu was by foot, through the Kanmon tunnel, which is under the water and was completed during the Pacific war (1942).
A quick walk in the Mojiko area followed and then we had a nice fancy lunch.
