The latest attraction to join Pune sightseeing map is Gram Sanskruti Udyan. Known as Pune’s first mock village, this park is located near Someshwar Temple.To evoke the image of India’s rural culture, Village Park near Someshwar Wadi has been constructed. It’s a village in itself where every aspect of rural culture can be experienced first-hand. The core objective is to provide visitors with a nostalgic experience of rural culture, where festivals, rituals and rural heritage are built. The park will leave an imprint of rural India on you so distinct that you would want to visit it often.
The garden gives experience of village business, life cycle and costumes through 68 different themes. A total of 555 statues including those of blacksmith, barber, cobbler, goldsmith, astrologer, tailor, farmer, carpenter and so on are at the Village Park, and the expressions of these personality statues are created wonderfully.

Traditional farming practices, cowshed and village market are attractively designed and represented. It has a temple where religious programmes are held daily. It also features one of the greatest religious movements of India, the Palkhi. A Panchayat with Tanta Mukti Kendra, where disputes of villagers are solved mutually, is also depicted.

Rs. 50 per person (for adults), Rs. 30 per person (for children )
