大阪府 大阪城公園・万博記念公園の桜絶景 ( ヒーリング音楽 ) / Cherry Blossoms at Osaka Castle ( Osaka, Japan )【日本の桜名所】

大阪府を代表する2つの桜名所、大阪城公園と万博記念公園をご紹介します。
大阪城公園は、大阪市の中心部に位置する城郭跡で「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。大阪城は「日本三名城」の一つに数えられており、国の「特別史跡」に指定されています。大阪城の石垣の規模や天守の壮麗さは別格です。

現在の天守が復興されたのは昭和初期で、太平洋戦争の戦災を免れています。昭和の天守は2021年に復興から90年を迎え、国の「登録有形文化財」にも登録されており、現存する世界最古の鉄骨鉄筋コンクリｰト造建築物です。

東の内濠沿いは、桜と天守を眺めるのに良い場所です。大阪城公園は「都市公園100選」にも選ばれています。
歴史の重みを感じられる日本を代表する城郭です

万博記念公園（ぱんぱくきねんこうえん）は、1970年に開催された日本万国博覧会の跡地に整備された都市公園です。「太陽の塔」がシンボルで、桜の名所としても有名です。桜は「東大路」に特に集中しており、桜並木の隙間から太陽の塔を見上げる景観は秀逸で、「日本の桜名所100選」にも選ばれています。

また、桜だけでなく、広大な敷地に四季折々の様々なお花畑もあります。
太陽の塔は、芸術家の岡本太郎氏によって手がけられ、大阪万博のテーマ館のシンボルとして建造されました。現在も大阪のシンボルとして人々に愛されています。太陽の塔の周囲は「太陽の広場」と呼ばれており、カラフルな花壇が広場を囲んでいます。

太陽の塔の高さは65m、底の直径は20mで、未来を表す上部の黄金の顔、現在を表す正面胴体部の顔、そして背面には、過去を表す黒い顔があります。近くに立つと、その巨大さに驚かされます。

万博記念公園のお花見ポイントは東大路が随一で、東大路から太陽の塔の裏側へと桜並木が続きます。太陽の塔の裏側には「お祭り広場」がありそこから見上げる太陽の塔もオススメのビューポイントです。

Osaka Castle Park and Expo ’70 Commemorative Park are two of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Osaka Prefecture.
Osaka Castle Park is a castle ruin located in the center of Osaka City and has been selected as one of the “100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan”. Osaka Castle is one of the “Three Great Castles of Japan” and is designated as a national “Special Historic Site”. The scale of Osaka Castle’s stone walls and the grandeur of its tower are exceptional.

The present tower was reconstructed in the early Showa period (1926-1989) and survived the war damage of the Pacific War. The Showa castle tower will celebrate 90 years since its reconstruction in 2021, and is registered as a “Registered Tangible Cultural Property” of Japan, and is the oldest existing steel-framed reinforced concrete structure in the world.

Along the inner moat on the east side is a good place to view the cherry blossoms and the tower. Osaka Castle Park has also been selected as one of the “100 Best Urban Parks”.
It is one of Japan’s representative castles where you can feel the weight of history!

Banpaku Kinen Koen (Expo ’70 Commemorative Park) is an urban park developed on the site of the 1970 Japan World Exposition. Its symbol is the Tower of the Sun, and it is also famous for its cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms are especially concentrated along Higashi-oji Avenue, and the view looking up at the Tower of the Sun through the gap between the rows of cherry trees is superb, and has been selected as one of the “100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan”.

In addition to cherry blossoms, there are also various seasonal flower gardens on the vast site.
The Tower of the Sun was designed by artist Taro Okamoto and built as the symbol of the theme pavilion for the Osaka World Exposition. It is still loved by people as a symbol of Osaka. The area surrounding the Tower of the Sun is called “Plaza of the Sun,” and colorful flowerbeds surround the plaza.

The Tower of the Sun is 65 meters high and 20 meters in diameter at the base, with a golden face at the top representing the future, a face on the front body representing the present, and a black face on the back representing the past. Standing nearby, one is struck by the enormity of the structure.

Higashi-oji Avenue is the best cherry blossom viewing point in Expo ’70 Commemorative Park, and rows of cherry trees lead from Higashi-oji Avenue to the back side of the Tower of the Sun. The back side of the Tower of the Sun has a “festival plaza” from which the Tower of the Sun is a recommended viewing point.
