Zum Rittersturz is a medieval-themed flume ride at Wild-und Freizeitpark Klotten. Originally built by ABC Rides in 2012, this water ride opened with incomplete theming. Over the years, a dark ride section was added and the exterior theming was finally finished in 2020. This augmented a ride that already featured a vertical lift and a coaster drop, but is the ride ruined by a trim brake?

Love these unusual reviews.
Trims 😑
That dragon looks very cool
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
I thought Klotten was supposed to be a zoo, but this ride looks sick.
Yikes……… so much potential
That Trim is driving me crazy. I honestly can´t remember it being active before 2021, but even most older POV´s clearly have that brutal punch to the stomach.
The Dragon is a 2021 addition to the theming and that cannon you mention is a upcharge thing that allows guests to get riders even more wet.
I did like the darkride section and the elevator. But the coaster itself was so underwhelming for me! When taht trim kicked in i was just like "Whyyy??"
Speaking of the trim brake, Was the park aware that the drop would give some good airtime if the trim wasn’t there or they just wanted to ruin it for us? Thanks for replying to this. Good vid btw.
Feeling validated because Klotten builds their rides and theming in Parkitect like I do.
A weight restriction on the first row? Guess I’ll head towards the back! Looks like a nice themed ride. Sucks about that trim, though.
This looks like a cool ride outside of its flaws
If you've been to Universal Studios, how come I (I don't know if was just me or not) only got a mild splash on the Jurassic Park ride? I was underwhelmed with how little I got wet.
It looks ok but I prefer dry rides, it is nice on a hot day though to ride such a unique log flume. That elevator lift kinda reminds me of an Intamin Water Coaster like Divertical.
Diving right under the other rollercoaster…something straight out of Rollercoaster Tycoon
This ride is a feverdream!
The funny thing is:
The Coaster: "Heiße Fahrt": I don't know what Trimbreaks are
"Rittersturz": But i know. O_O
btw: i was relativly dry in the middle-right seat. Even tho, the most weight was on the right.
(relativly compared to "Riverquest" in Phantasialand)
