I traveled around Kyoto in the end of December in 2021. I don’t remember how many shrines and temples I visited, but I remember the uniqueness and beautifulness in each place.
The snowy Kifune Shrine, the mystical Yasaka Pagoda at night, the powerful twin dragons in Kenninji Temple, and so many quiet and calm temples made me realize the beauty of Kyoto once again.
