There’s nothing like a view of Tokyo! So many skyscrapers, stretching on for as far as you can see. And there are hotels you can stay in with a beautiful view to enjoy at night and in the morning when you wake up. Lots of them are super expensive, like the Park Hyatt in Lost in Translation, but when I’ve been planning my Japan trips I’ve come across a number of Tokyo hotels that have great views, that are also more affordable for the average person. Let me know in the comments if you’ve stayed in any of them!

  1. We have booked one of the apartments at Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku for a few days next month. Booked about 6 months ago and got it for a great price. I chose it for the combination of the view, the self contained apartment for the family, as well as it being so close to both Shin-Okubo station for the Yamamoto loop and Okubo Station for the Chuo Line. We’ll be back, so it’s great to see these options to look into for future bookings. Thank you! 🌸

  2. Awesome recommendations! I just booked my December trip but was rather sad my regular go to Business Hotel in Shinjuku was not an option. Going to try out the Washington Hotel in Shinjuku this time around.

  3. Everytime I visit Tokyo I will only stay in Akihabara because I'm a massive anime fan and want to wake up to a district full of anime

  4. Great video here Amy from London England here! The Hotels there in Japan look very impressive here & hope to get myself a cheaper price Hotel instead of those expensive Hotels there soon!

  5. While watching this video I realised I've never stayed in an actual hotel in Tokyo despite having been there three times 😅 (one time with a host family, in an airbnb and a youth hostel) so these recommendations sure come in handy when planning my next trip 😊

  6. Not Tokyo, granted, but we stayed at the Sheraton Grand in Hiroshima, exceptionally cheap for what you got, and the view was amazing, plus it's only a few metres from Hiroshima station (which has excellent Okonomiyaki!!)

  7. Great vid! We had booked Japan months ago and last month booked all our hotels.. We have just checked and some have almost doubled in price from what we paid 😮So glad we got in early!

  8. If you like Train View🚄, I recommend Imperial Hotel Tower in Yurakucho. 💖✨

The hospitality of Imperial Hotel is also wonderful. 👍

  9. The best view I had was when I stayed at the Cerulean Tower hotel in Shibuya. We we’re hoping for a crossing view but our view didn’t disappoint. A clear view of Mount Fuji on the horizon and the rainbow bridge

  10. The Grand Arc Hanzomon has great views over the Imperial Palace and you can see Tokyo Tower off in the distance too. Hanzomon is a quieter neighborhood, but the station (Hanzomon on the Hanzomon line) has direct connection to both Shibuya and Oshiage (for Tokyo Skytree) and Jimbocho. This is a fantastic location if you like to jog. It is very popular to jog around the Imperial Palace moat, as it's roughly a 5k. I think last time I checked, prices were around 6700 yen a night if you book decently in advance.

  11. We stayed at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo Seafort in October 2019…. had a pretty sweet view of Rainbow Bridge and Sky Tree from the room and it was quite cheap. Near Shinagawa Station but the Tokyo Monorail runs through the same building as the hotel so you don't have to get wet to get on the move.

  12. Hey! A good affordable-ish hotel, is Yuen Shinjuku. Its in a great location not far from Shinjuku Station, and not all rooms will have views at the cheapest price, but it has an Onsen on the top floor with the views:) Prices start at about 8,300yen, which is about 60USD

  13. We are staying in the Hyatt Regency Shinjuku, I think this is a business district but not too far from train stations, anybody have any experience of this one.
