  1. Considering the price.. it is acceptable.. to upgrade ife will cost a lot.. much better they use that money to provide better service and ife content.. if the can just provide unlimited data for chat like whatsapp etc.. I doubt everyone will even care about the ife..

  2. for sure , it is better if for business class they provide a suitable tablet for extra passenger experience.. if not, they will lead to new downfall for mas as nothing were differentiate them with even any low-cost airlines business class offer in market.. hurmm

  3. Not a fan of MH's new 737 cabin, especially on a longer flight. However, at least the seat colours looks more refreshing and welcoming than the old ones

  4. I hope this is not the final result of the so called refurbished 737. considering they just updated the new amazing safety video. it would be a shame if they stick to manual safety demo on all refurbished 737. hope the a330neo they ordered would actually have ife screen. btw great video. a new subscriber here

  5. Thank you for this very informative video. May I know which airport in KL does this flight goes to ? KLIA or the old airport ? Could ones just go to the airport, purchase the tix, instead of prebooking, and hop on the flight ? Thank you.

  6. MH is reflective of most GLCs in Malaysia..CLUELESS, from the horrible safety video suitable for ultra LCC airlines to the downgraded products that they proudly introduced as refreshed cabin im thinking they really fond of branding themselves as premium LCC rather than full service airlines, the CEO also publicly proclaimed that MH must be seen as "premium" airline not luxury and will not compete with the likes of EK/EY/SQ…if you dont have high ambitions the most you will offer is mediocre….

  7. i used to travel a lot by Malaysia airlines for business from 2005-2008. I had way too many 3-4 hour flights stuck in 737 in econ class with no IFE and it really made me avoid MH for a while. the 737s eventually got upgraded with IFE, but I feel this new refresh kinda just screams cost saving and budget cuts. Dont think it will have me going back to MH anytime soon.

  8. Hi, thanks for the nice review….I totally agree with other viewers, MH is really going backwards by removing IFE screens…..how about passengers (especially elderly) who are not tech-savy or do not pocess a smart phone? Am afraid, MH is always known for the wring reason. But the Crew amd Service on board are always lovely & brilliant.

  9. You keep saying in the video that there is no IFE. This is incorrect. It is the PTV that is missing or removed in the cabin retrofit. IFE remains available but accessed through personal devices.

  10. Just give them bad reviews and send email to Malaysia airlines and pliss give your YouTube videos to show prove from public comment

  11. Not bad at all. It's upgraded and looks modern and roomy. The old interior is faded and dated. Cheers to MAS.

  12. Removing IFE and Magazine can save a lot of weight of the aircraft. The new seat also lighter. Is all about reduce fuel cost .

  13. As for the IFE,I think its a good move from Malaysia Airline as for cost reduction maintenance for aircraft that only make under 2 hours flight.Logically thinking,we pay a ticket price which included food, fare and maintenance. After that we have to pay another(optional) for WI-FI onboard. Therefore,MAS cut the maintenance for IFE and replace it with WI-FI onboard for whole flights usings which much cheaper than it.Just my theory

  14. Good review bro… its also a good idea if people use IPAD/tabs or even laptops for long flights.

  15. Thanks for thr unbiased review. I am done with MH, a premium airlines that has so many small air crafts and spend their money on all the wrong things. A new safety demo video (entertaining but lack focus on safety), now this, removal of IFE, and calling it saving the planet bla bla bla. I still have 64K elite miles with them and find it they have been badly devalued. Final nail to the coffin and is rocket high ticket price ex Hong Kong to all the destinations I used to fly with them like KL, Perth, Sydney. This coming CNY 2023, I'm flying to KL with Thai biz class, and they are cheaper than MH! Using A350 and 787 respectively. Sorry to say, I have to drop MH for now, until they get their acts together.

  16. Besides the free movies, do you think there is still much differentiation between MH and AK? I was surprised even in business class there is no screen

  17. At Kota Kinabalu MAS CHOOSES the 737 for long haul international flights like to Taipei and narita which is over 3 hours , the seats is already shit compared to other airlines who chooses wider body aircraft and now their planning on removing IFE screen and switching to a less comfortable seat …….. now I rather take scoot or cebu pacific

  18. wish they have onboard wifi too. to supplement the mhstudio. so we can watch netflix, hbo, disney plus & etc. but the wifi must be fast and the pricing must be affordable for people to purchase

  19. Let me get this straight. On a domestic one hour flight within Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines offers live inflight entertainment with live streaming entertainment on passenger I phones. It also offers Wi Fi and free refreshments. This is more than what is offered by the vast majority of airlines around the world, so please be thankful.

  20. Cheaper to fly to East Malaysia via hongkong, manila.

Direct flights are expensive, flying via a third country may have good tickets.

    KL-HK- KK.
