It’s finally starting to feel like Japan is making progress towards returning to normal 🥺
For nearly three years, I’ve felt like I’ve been living in some weird alternate Tokyo. Along with the gradual return of tourists, events are starting to come back and people are becoming more open to conversations and events and just, well, life!! 🥰
I really felt so happy going to these festivals this weekend. I haven’t been going to many events these recent years and going to these made me realize how much I missed this kind of atmosphere 🥳

0:24 LOL
yes of course I like this video, there is a lot of light, a lot of animation, a great mastery of the image and a lot of things
Life looks so much more fun in japan compared to here in the US. I love watching these types of videos, it keeps me in a happy mood lol
Hello I been there in June 2016 October 2019 I’m going in may 2023 how is it in may
The cat in the pram was very well behaved. I hope there are cat festivals in the Kansai area. I'm headed there soon.
question about driver's license renewal: since I converted to japanese license, it says valid for like 3 years after I got it. how much does it cost to renew?
Hey Allison, loved your video and your vibe 🌹🌹🌹
Hi Allison, love ur videos,we be traveling to Tokyo around mid Nov for few days and see if u like to meet for breakfast/lunch ?
Congrats on 20k Allison! I have never been to a festival in Japan, but here in Brisbane we have Matsuri (literally festival lol) and it gives you a great taste of Japanese festivals! Hopefully one day soon I can go to a festival in Japan! Great video as always!
Did you find the bug?
that poor cat 🙁 why would ppl take them with them, it's so stressful
Love the outfit so comfy and cute
My stupid laugh 😂 I need to stop doing this when filming! 😭
Nezu shrine looks so different when the flowers are still green.
oh! I didnt even know! Kagurazaka is down the street from me!
Such a fun and wholesome vlog! I would love to attend the festivals that you went to. It makes my heart so happy to see everyone happy 🥲
It’s so great to see the festivals coming back and everything is going back to normal. So I feel your happiness because this makes me happy too. And I love those new slippers you’ve got. OMG they are so cute 😍 I have to get one of those for myself ☺️
i recently moved to japan! your videos have been great to watch to help me adjust more haha… just wondering how you heard about the festivals? thanks for the upload, been loving the content 😀
we are in tokyo at the moment and staying here until 31 october. we have already seen much here and it was a good choice coming here. your videos helped us so much already, think you. maybe we see each other in the street although it must be a very very good coincidence 😅
Hope you do some local areas too! I just subbed to your channel. I love that there’s so many kawaii Sanrio merch. Also what type of Japanese foods do you like to buy? Can you take us to a cute bakery 🧁? Would love to see cute places to visit in japan that are low key but cute.
北海道からのご挨拶
I visited Nezu shrine once by accident. It'll forever live in my mind as a happy memory.
Well…bugs are everywhere in Japan. You can clean morning, noon, night…and still have them. My sister lived in Iwakuni. She bought some type of bug stuff in a box. They were small hard plastic pieces that she placed in corners of each room. She bought them at the Big store(Aeon). Hope your studying is going well. Thanks for the fun video.
What is the name of the store with all the cute bear merchandise? (At around 15:37) ♡
whoa! this festival is so cute!! does it happen every October??
Hi Allison! I'm a new subscriber and I love your videos! I love your candor and I love how nicely structured your videos are. I can totally relate to the closet situation – maybe do a Marie Kondo? Also it's nice to see that Japan carries all kinds of sizes – I might be visiting soon and I'm from North America and was worried that all the clothes run super extra small😅
Great video! From japan
Hi Allison, got a question in relation to one of your posted videos: can someone work elsewhere part time if they are working on a GABA itaku kind of contract ? https://youtu.be/1xSEVqv4Wkc
So very happy to watch Japan get back on track , .Such a wonderful country Love from India
