Today I’m taking you along with me to a traditional Japanese market festival, Tori no Ichi. It’s held on certain days in November, and business owners go to buy kumade “rakes” to bring economic prosperity in the New Year! I went with some Japanese friends who explained a lot about it to me, especially because one buys them here every year ๐Ÿฆ” Thank you, friends, and welcome to your Youtube debut! ๐Ÿ™‡โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I definitely want to go back again when the stalls for food and drinks are open! There weren’t any at this shrine this year ๐Ÿ™ But I can see why…this was probably the most crowded place I’ve been in two years ๐Ÿ˜… It was a great change of atmosphere for me though!!

โค๏ธ Please like the video, comment, and subscribe for more content about my life here in Japan in the future!! It helps me out tremendously ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’•
