  1. I think if you're a Brit and you want to criticise America from everything from gun ownership to a slew of other things, we don't really want to hear it because the UK also has a ton of problems. First and foremost something that isn't talked about much, is how deprived the white English underclass is compared to mainland Europeans. I got to see that first hand living in Tenerife Canary Islands for 1.5 years during and just after the lockdowns, and also Thailand, where half of them can't even speak English properly and no fuck all about the world like they could care less anyway lol.

  2. Just spent a month in Edinburgh and currently another month in England. We were in Edinburgh when Queen Elizabeth II passed away so we experienced all the outpouring of love and sadness for her and her family. We find the British extremely friendly, many wanting to have lengthy conversation. It is not unusual though for British people to stay to themselves. The food is generally bland lacking seasoning. The food is also a lot of sandwiches, burgers or fried food. They are well known for fish and chips which has been perfected and is absolutely delicious.

  3. You're only welcome if you get out of London and avoid the major cities and see the real British areas, history and culture!

  4. Typically, I've gotten along well with Brits when they've visited the US, except when I beat them at 8 ball, but it was nothing a couple more pints couldn't resolve. ๐Ÿคฃ
I've never been to England or any part of the UK. I'll get there one day soon. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. just wanted to respond to what you said about the humor part…..i'm dutch, so i don't want to speak for the British people, but my English friends mainly mean that Americans don't get the english sarcastic sense of humor ,or sarcasm in general, i happen to agree with them

  6. I lived in the UK for a bit during college and frequently visit since then. I always warn my US friends to stand on the right side of the escalator. I can always find the American in London when they are just hanging out on the left side causing a blockage for those trying to walk up.

  7. Every single country thinks that every other nation trying to invade them. Just a psychology of Animal behaviour.

  8. How are Americans gonna be obsessed with the monarchy โ€” yโ€™all didnโ€™t take a history lesson???

  9. Politics is not much of a sore spot, except for guns, in my experience. Sometimes Brits will accuse Americans of complicity in gun proliferation and violence, so have something ready to say about the difference between public and politicians' opinions on that.

  10. Brits are raised from birth to kill with words.
It might sound funny, but you will not like it after a couple days.

    London is a particular nightmare.
You will order every coffee from a person that lets you know, they hate you in multiple ways.

    One sentence summary:
Angry north islanders with much better food than you expected.

I would rather sleep on the cold stone floors of the southernmost bus station in Mexico, than in the most expensive London hotel if it was free.
(insert French, Italian, and British hand signals here)

  11. We have absolutely no objections to Americans visiting Britain. In fact, the Empire intends to reintegrate America as soon as practicable. Soon Americans will merely be British subjects visiting their Motherland. There are just a few thorny issues to resolve regarding taxes and representation in the Mother of all Parliaments. A gesture of goodwill will be made by relocating the Royal Family to the American colonies. Where the American subjects choose to house them is of no concern to the Motherland; just get them out of the UK. You shouldn't read the Telegraph to gauge British opinions; it would be like reading a Marvel comic to gauge American opinions. The bit about the Telegraph isn't a joke.

  12. Stooges, they should be traveling to Thailand. The Baht is at 20% discount… Just learn from Brits, LOL =)

  13. Good report however I have never been infatuated with British royalty. Just read history books and anybody will come to the sad conclusion that they accumulated their illicit fortune slaving, colonizing, invading, destroying innocent lives, etc, etc. Just watch Brave Heart. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I love visiting England and the British people are for the most part friendly and welcoming. What really supports this nonsense monarchy is the hard working people struggling to survive while they indulge themselves with expensive parties and get richer every day at the taxpayers expense. Not fair!

  14. Supposedly 25% of people have no sense of humor/humour, eh? I think I know most of them. It's like being color.colour bline, tone deaf.

  15. I find the British much like their cousins the Canadians … Overly reserved and coolish …aka boring . As an American I travels tons and am never loud and make few comments on negative comparisons with my home country. Basically I have zero interest in visiting Not so Great Britain..

  16. All Americans except Johnny FD are welcome ๐Ÿ˜‚ If youโ€™ve seen his latest videos youโ€™ll know why.

  17. The UK especially places like London, Birmingham, and Manchester are more multicultural than many realize though stereotypes may be comforting.

  18. I havenโ€™t gone to Western Europe for close to 20 years because of bad exchange rates.

  19. I wonder if they clump Canadians in the same boat like Spain does. I was very very unwelcome in Barcelona. I hope the UK is friendlier. Sounds like it!

  20. I know that most Americans misbehave everywhere they go but the UK desperately needs their dollars right now. It's like an employee tolerating an abusive boss because he doesn't have better employment options.

  21. Hi Kristen, love the new video. Thanks again for your advice. Hope your doing well. Make sure you're buying that dip! Or at least dollar cost averaging! Rock on. ๐Ÿ˜‰ -Eli

  22. Hmmm, sounds hypocritical to me. Europeans come over here in August and swamp our national parks. Americans have to buy day passes to enter our own national parks months in advance. Yes, those Europeans have "to do" checklists too and drive around in RVs or cars from park to park. Being raised to never talk politics/religion at the dinner table comes from a bygone era. It happens in the workplace now too. We love the British sense of humor!

  23. My wife and I were on a cruise many years ago and shared a dinner table with a British family and a Texas couple. Funny how the 3 groups all spoke English but the Texas couple had to translate and the go between for us. I did not understand a word from the English family and vice versa. It was a wired dinner experience but somehow we made it work and we all laugh a lot. Great video!!

  24. If there are Americans within 500 yards/metres people hear them. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿค  Maybe they're just excited to be in Europe?

  25. They sure have had no problem coming to the US when their currency was stronger. It is what it is. Things change, times change. Nothing wrong with it

  26. This is a very interesting video! I was in the UK back in April, and everyone was very welcoming especially up in northern England. I got into a very nice conversation with an older couple about travel and cameras (they noticed my vlogging camera). In addition, I even got to meet up with one of my followers for dinner one night too. Always remember to treat people with respect and respect their values, and they will respect you right back. Great video!

  27. I would definitely go to Europe again but I would definitely want someone to travel with!? Any ๐Ÿ’ก
