I need to take calcium late at night so I usually buy some kind of snacks to take it with
It was 20 degrees when we went this year and I seriously bought one of those $80 EARidecent Spirit Jerseys to wear the next day, only when I got it to the hotel I noticed the letters were literally falling off!!! I was able to return it at our resort gift shop, but they did not sell them there, and they were out of stock at all the other three parks I went to (only EPCOT and Disney Springs apparently had them). So I ended up wearing the bright red WDW fleece sweater that I got during the Millennium Celebration. I hadn’t really ever worn it since 2000, except during Snowmageddon 2021 in Texas, where that fleece was probably a life saver, as it traps heat like crazy!
AJ you're tales of the gas station sandwich were my savior while staying at Wilderness Lodge this summer. Your voice popped into my head and I ran like the wind to stock up on yummy snacks from Roaring Fork as my family closed out the pool. We were able to stay up all night with amazing food…we even did a toast to your great advice!
i feel attacked i collect venation masks i have at least two (and yes they´re from Italy) i dont think I bought them from that much. Fun tip, keep the toilet tree kit in tact (if you can) and not take them out YEP I FEEL SMART and PLEASE BE ON TIME! I dont like people who don´t leave on time. yes I have to be on time to every single time…I usually cant stand people who are ¨late and who drive¨ To me, that doesn´t make since. No its not fine to have temper tantrums at all.
AJ I hear you about you about forgetting clothing, I have been there many times on vacation. A trip we went to Disney in the Middle of March with my daughter when she was with her marching band, just before we were getting out of our vehicle at our airport (Detroit, Mi), I pulled out my gloves and what did I have to buy gloves $10 for $tree gloves, same kind I pulled out of my pockets.
I really hope you have the guts to stand up to Disney like other YouTubers are doing. These price increases are absolutely unacceptable! 250 for a lightsaber give me a break. It’s time we unite and fight back!!!!
We were there in January and I had to buy my kid a winter coat. Dang!
11:00 Please do your kid a favor and realize that if they are having a tantrum it is likely because they have exceeded the limit of what their nerves can handle. Trying to force a kid to “suck it up and shut up” is not helpful for the kid. I am of the opinion that a lot of us adults would have much better mental health if we had been taught as small children to recognize and respect our limits and taught functional regulation and soothing techniques young. So, if you can remove a kid who’s tantruming to a quieter space where they can work through the overwhelm and frustration without the bustle of a restaurant, fantastic. Not only will they likely find their equilibrium faster, but you will help teach them that if they are overwhelmed or frustrated sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is to take yourself out of the situation for a few minutes to regroup.
Hahaha, I think you’re the only person who is willing to admit they sometimes forget to pack underwear. 🤣 Meanwhile I always forget socks. Why?
We bought one of those things in Pandora.. a Banshee? It now sits in a storage closet. Total waste of money. We got the perch, too.
I bought a Doctor who Enciclopedia at the England pavilion in Epcot.
Our next trip is over Christmas this year at Polynesian Villas. We use WalMart plus and have groceries delivered and can order any forgotten items and have them delivered too. We have plenty of snacks and water.
TRADING PINS! My first Disney World trip I freaked out and needed a pin for everything. Riding certain E ticket attractions for the first time or some certain characters and then park themed ones. I came home with 32 new pins. RIDICULOUS! I don't know what happened, I blacked out lol.
If you need a jacket while on property, it's definitely cheaper to buy a jacket there than to pay for a Lyft and a driver tip two ways to an off-property store. It's also a better use of your valuable park time. Just one of those things you chalk up to a learning experience. I…might be speaking from experience. Just buy the hoodie there if you forgot to pack one for your park day.

Love this topic.
My pro tip for drinking around the world is always always always split the drinks. My friends and I not only complete the challenge but also save money this way. Plus you can try more items this way.
Thank you for not bringing your child's tantrum to the restaurant! I appreciate it much!
First time we ordered Night Blossom in Pandora, it came with the lotus glow cube and I foolishly taught that’s how they came. But I never got another one with the glow cube after that. It was a little bit of pixie dust, but I didn’t réalisée it at the time…
Haha!!! I saw the Doctor Who inspired 'Bad Wolf' mask! Cool!!!
Once, in EPCOT, we knew it was going to be chilly (we live in South Florida, so we knew it was going to be colder than home and we were in a cold front). We also knew it was going to be rainy throughout the day, but we did not think it was going to be THAT COLD and THAT RAINY! So, even though I went to the park with a sweatshirt AND a rain jacket, I could not wear BOTH the sweatshirt AND jacket at the same time because my rain jacket was not big enough to fit over my sweatshirt…
And the temperature got SUPER COLD after raining, so…. I ended up needing a much thicker jacket… I got one of those grey super fuzzy jackets and I was so much happier!
But then we noticed it looked like the rain was going to pick up again and my rain jacket was DEFINITELY not fitting over this jacket and our dollar store ponchos didn't cover my arms, which… if it rained like it did previously, those sleeves soaking wet would be a reason to leave early.
so then we went into that winter store in Norway to buy a $100 rain jacket… I always thought it was crazy they even had a store like that because WHO BUYS WINTER COATS IN A FLORIDA THEME PARK?!??!?! But… now I have a really nice rain jacket… that fits over a really nice fuzzy jacket…
and now I use my jacket for drop-off duty at work (I'm a school counselor)…
Definitely don't recommend having to do this… but I got 2 nice jackets and a story to tell 🤷♀️😅
As far as “emergency gift store items” my dad lost his glasses on a ride and The Art of Animation gift shop had reading glasses, the cast member didn’t even know and was just as surprised. Saved our trip, since dad needed to be able to see the screen on his fancy camera.
My weakness is the pastry in France at EPCOT.
