Hitachi Seaside Park, located in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki prefecture, Japan, next to Beach, is a flower park and a popular tourist destination. The park covers an area of ​​3.5 hectares and the flowers are amazing all year round.
Every autumn thousands of Kochia bushes turn crimson on Miharashi Hill inside the Hitachi Seaside Park in Japan.
Many come to see the beautiful balls of red that cover entire fields.
We simply cannot help but marvel at this remarkable autumn view. During the Kochia Carnival visitors can immerse themselves in the park’s unique fall colors and walk amongst red Kochia bushes and millions of cosmos flowers.
茨城県ひたちなか市にある「ひたち海浜公園」は四季の彩り鮮やかな花々が堪能できる国営公園。公園は大きく７つのエリアに分かれ、西口エリアにある「みはらしの丘」は、ひたちなか市内で一番標高の高い丘。ここの斜面1万2,000平方mにモコモコとした愛らしい姿のコキア（和名、ほうき草）が植えられている。秋は真っ赤に紅葉し、美しく斜面を飾る。３万２千本のコキアは、枝や葉を乾燥させてほうきの材料となる植物で、緑の葉が深紅に紅葉する。丘からは晴れた日には筑波山も見える。
