Hi everybody, todayโs video covers a fun walk in what is said to be Manilaโs most dangerous area. As you can tell, I can not confirm this notion. I only met friendly, helpful, kind and truly amazing people there. Enjoy the walk and some of the insights on ๐ต๐ญ๐
Thanks for visiting us and enjoy! Subscribed!๐๐ต๐ญ
Super well done sir!
Thank you, very eye opening to the amount of people in a square mile. I think you meet them all. I hate to ask this every new city but could you add a date in your description? ThanksโฆI hope your not getting all this rain and are safe. Have a great week.
If you plan to walk the streets always walk along the major thoroughfare. In any other country you don't go thru back streets which you are not from or familiar with, that's just a recipe for disaster.

Top video man lots of fun facts. Really enjoyed. Love the Philippines i traveled there for 4 months just wow
Watching you here in italy sir
Sir, it's Paquiao, pronounced "Pak-yao" (no 'N').
Our other famed athletes are:
Rafael "Paeng" Nepomuceno. He was six time World bowling champion and a World Bowling Hall of Famer. He has many more accomplishments, too many to mention here.
Efren "Bata" Reyes, nicknamed "The Magician". Professional pool player. A winner of over 100 international titles, Reyes was the first player to win the WPA World Championships in two different pool disciplines.
Did you mention about our National Bird – The Philippine Eagle? (Sorry if i missed it.) It's the largest in the world in terms of length and wing surface area. It is a beautiful bird especially when it raises its head plumage making it look like a lion's mane. You can see one in Davao at the Philippine Eagle Sanctuary. ๐
Supplemental fun fact the barong tagalog were preferred by Spaniards during colonial times so that they can see in the flimsy dress or shirt if the locals have knives or bolos underneath the shirts. Great vlog not the usual run of the mill, you will go a long way if you keep doing something like this, kudos and thank you for loving the Philippines.
Sabah is actually owned by the Philippines but this is a controversial topic to discuss. I suggest you check first the facts and history.
Thank you for sharing.
Hi Januas, I'm looking above streets as you walk along and I'm seeing the electrical wires and utilities and they look like a twisted nightmare. The the utilities 'guys must have incredible skills to work on those bird nests. Geez.. Anyway I'm enjoying your travel videos so thanks for taking us with you!
WoW nice video kabayan hello from Philippines walker ๐๐๐ถ๐ท๐น
Those electric wire hanging on the streets so ugly to watch & unorganized streets….hope the local government improved it .anyway, enjoy your stay in manila.
It is interesting that most Filipinos are not camera-shy at all. Iโm loving that youโre walking around the real Manila neighborhoods. Itโs also great that you researched about Philippines and it seems youโve already travelled around the country. You can tell that population growth is still good in the Philippines with the number of kids and young people on the streets. Iโm curious where youโre originally from as you sound (and your name is) very European. Iโm guessing Scandinavia or one of the German-speaking countries. Anyway, thank you for choosing to feature the Philippines. Safe travels.
Hi Janus! Watching your walk tour I see many similarities with my home:) You are a great world traveler! During others stay in their comfort zone, you show the viewer the real sides of Manila. Really nice to see how you integrated to the locals ๐ Truly Asia vibrant ๐ Thanks so much!
One part that is quite unique & different from the rest of the Philippines is the Cordillera region up north, the part that was never been conquered. A beautiful place, rich in culture, great place for hiking adventure lots of spectacular manmade(thousands of rice terraces everywhere) & natural scenery, something usually overlooked & not known to most foreign tourists.
your a nice and smiling friendly guy! swiss/german english accent is quite not familiar to locals and often confusing for us in understanding what you are saying.. but with your smiling face, everything will be smooth!.. WELCOME๐

The Philippines looks a lot cleaner now. Also, if you've noticed there are lots of constructions going on. I believe this will continue, as long as they'll never elect any Kakampwets and Dilawans again.
