Appalachian Trail Day 145/6/7 – It Was Too Windy to Summit Mt. Washington [Whites Day 7, 8 & 9]

Days 145-6 of my Appalachian Trail thru hike.

We were supposed to go up and over Mt. Washington, but the wind and rain decided otherwise. As the home of the fastest wind speed ever recorded, the summit is not a place to be in bad weather. (Many people have died up there.)

So we sat around and waited a whole day and tackled it in slightly better weather. We just needed to be patient.
