An Infantryman's Tour of the Air Force Armament Museum

John tours an Air Force museum from the perspective of an infantryman. One reason the US Infantry is so successful in battle is because of close air support (CAS). It was a lot of fun for me to get up close and personal with the machines and tech that have kept my brothers alive.

  1. Awesome video and wonderful insight from your perspective as an infantryman!
Thank you very much for your service! 🇺🇸🙏🏻❤️

  2. When I was active duty USAF I got to spend four years in Germany in a squadron that provided CAS reach-back communications for the US Army 5th Corps. I experienced the proudest moment of my career when we called in a B-52 from Spokane to do a simulated bombing run on our joint Tactical Operations Center. The looks on our allies' faces when that BUFF crested the hill and opened its bomb bay doors will always remain priceless in my mind. Good times.

  3. I was glad Don had someone to visit this museum with who actually knows about these things. 😁😉

  4. I have visited the museum several times. My dad rests at Barrancas National Cemetery at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Many thanks again John, for your service, bravery and the courage to share your experiences, both during and post deployment. I share an indebtedness to you and all your veteran brothers. Thank you for vlogging about this tour.

  5. Wish I had a nickel for every C-130, C-135, KC-135, C-141, C5A, B-52 and a few small fighter jets as well. That's what happens when you are stationed on a MAT, SAC and TAC base! John, when we first came out with the M16 the grunts could have used those AK 47's with all the mud and rain those poor souls went through as the 16's were really temperamental back then! Again, a huge thank you for your service! USAF '62-'66

  6. I was working a moving target while on range duty for our company of tanks in Germany. We ran the target out and then heard something that sounded like a slow dentist drill. The target came back in destroyed. I peaked out of the bunker and saw my first A-10s looping around on runs. Slow but very agile.

  7. Thank you for your service. For those of us who don't know where this is, can you tell us where to find it?

  8. Liked the background information. I was Air Force and loved to work near the flight-line so I could watch the aircraft. Thanks, John.

  9. Thank you so much John, my son was in Iraq for 2 tours, driving his MRAP, and hummer IEDs F'ed him up , his back got broken, and he ended up 100% disabled, and same as you PTSD, again thank you so much for your service, hitting the road in 4 months, love your videos, keep up the great work, hope to run into you in the future ✌🏻

  10. I love the perspective you added to the tour of the museum. I really appreciated you let me tag along and learn a lot about creating a video and photography at the museum.

  11. Yes the A10 was super cool how they will just drop from the sky and Obliterate a building.

  12. Loved the video. Worked on and was a weapons loader on the A-10 Wart Hog. That thing carries a crap load of munitions. Loved my time working on that plane and my time in the Air Force. Manny years ago. Keep up the great videos.

  13. Thanks so much for your service time and I hope your time at the museum did not bring back as many negative memories as positive ones 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸!!!!

  14. Saying "thank you for your service" seems so inadequate, but please know the sacrifices you made are much appreciated. Never forget…

  15. I really appreciate the sacrifices that you and your fellow servicemen and women made to keep us safe. I enjoyed seeing the museum through your eyes. Thanks John.
