Today is a short video, but a fun one! We are on a trip to the Philippines, but before that, we have a 9 hour layover in Taiwan. Instead of finding a place to hang out or just sitting in the airport tired for that time, Trish had found out that there are free half-day tours and they pick you up directly from the airport terminals and bring you back after, and they were designed to fit perfectly in between flights for instances like ours. Once we arrived, we met at the appropriate counter, met up with our guide and went off on another mini adventure!
We visited Sanxia where we checked out the temple there, and had some free time to wander on our own on Sanxia old street. After, the bus took us to Yingge, which is famous for antiquity and pottery. We checked out the stores, walked the streets and grabbed a bowl of pork intestine thin noodles before getting dropped off at our terminal once more with a good amount of time to board our connecting flight.
