I rode a Japanese Shinkansen “Bullet train” from Fukuoka to Tokyo, including passing Mount Fuji on the way. Sitting in a train for hours going at 300 km/h (or 186 mph) for hours at a time never gets old. What is more, the ride the whole way is so smooth you can set an open drink on the window sill at the start, and not a drop will have been spilled by the time it gets to your destination!
I shot this some years ago without explanation so you can get a feeling of the ambience inside.
There’s also some video of the guard on the platform at Shin Osaka Station.

I will be making more videos about Japan. If you’d like to support my work, I’d be very happy.

I have been using Backblaze’s unlimited cloud backup to protect all my data — terabytes of it — for a flat monthly or yearly fee, for years. I highly recommend them as a backup solution.

Aww man, something else to add to my bucket list. Great video!
First second I thought that was a Qantas jet at 7:25 but it was JAL. Can anyone guess Japanese pronounce Qantas.
Greetings from Melbourne. Gosh, Japan looks so enticing after what we have been thru here. Wish I could join you ❤️
I have always wondered, Thanks for borrowing your sight instead of your ears. It doesn’t seem extremely fast when you get use to it.
Oh I miss it soooo much
Best part is when you are standing on the station’s platform and a Shinkansen passes in front of you… amazing
I had an opportunity to try out the bullet train in Japan in 2004, and I was taken back by how smooth it was at full speed.
I hope to return to Japan soon. 🙏😃
thanks for sharing the view of 300 km/h of shinkanshen.
I miss Japan so much…….. Freemason won't let me go with this circus19 shit, I hope they complete their plan asap
Amos – by any chance have you ever listened to Star Guitar by The Chemical Brothers when making that trip? Your video makes me think of the classic Gondry video for that song! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S43IwBF0uM
Will you now be using the sound track of the train video with your reviews to check headphones for speed?
must have a great DAC if it's that smooth!
if you want to record stations probably you can use something like sennheiser ambeo to record binaural sounds.
also this video has tinted picture (greenish) I guess because of the windows. I think it is better to correct white balance.
Thanks for sharing!
Motion sickness alert.
That has to feel so good!!! 🤤
