The Children’s parade, where groups of children dance along the street to the Heso Matsuri song at the start of the ”Bellybutton Dance’’, the yearly Heso Matsuri Festival in Furano, in the centre of Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan. After this the Hokushin shrine is paraded, a portable shrine, an ancient Japanese custom.
