I took a rickshaw ride in Asakusa driven by a very cute girl driver, Rie-chan!
For this shoot, I tried shooting in Asakusa at nightfall with Rie-chan.
Viewers will also enjoy the very nice atmosphere of Asakusa at nightfall.
And while riding on Rie-chan’s rickshaw, passersby　said, “She’s cute”. 😊
There were especially many such scenes during this shoot, so please enjoy Rie-chan’s reaction as well.

    GTJT, partner, I have to say I'm continuously impressed by the quality of your work and the level of your involvement with 東京力車. I have often seen the company's President lending a hand to his troops at the end of shifts, inspiring his staff with his cool and soothing yet stalwart and imposing presence, but rarely though, have I seen him treat a customer with such high regards and see him off personally as he did at 1:16 and 2:27. When you look at how he practically rolled out the red carpet for you, it goes a long way proving you're not "just any random YouTuber" for them. As a true and long-time 東京力車 fan just as a loyal follower of your channel since its beginnings, I could not be more glad to see your work recognized and appreciated as it should be by managers and drivers alike. It is all entirely deserved and mighty promising for the future. Whatever it may hold and no matter how uncertain it may be, one thing is for sure : you Sir, are here to stay. 色々ありがとう, GTJT Onii-san.

    Thumbnail Queen りえさん is always very sweet, charming and beautiful but I think that's even more true when she rides with you. Since she is one of the most experienced lady-drivers in the company, I must have enjoyed dozens of her rides yet I do not recall ever seeing her as resplendent as in this vid. The bystanders make no mistake about it and neither do you, GTJT Onii-san. Very smooth conversation work from start to finish and smart move giving the camera to りえさん at 28:03. She's always more than happy to play along and gift us lucky viewers with her cutest poses and smiles. Wasn't the first time, either. During drive-throughs like shrines and temples visits, you never fail to lend the camera to your driver while searching coins in your wallet. Almost once per ride, whenever the occasion presents itself. Those shots could easily look fake or awkward but they never do. On the contrary, they're always funny, pretty, natural, spontaneous and taken willingly. For years to come, when people shall look back to the origins of the Golden Age of jinrikisha videos on YT, these will sure stay and be known by all as "GTJT Onii-san の Signature Shots", 間違いない.

    夕方 is the magic hour. As you and りえさん rightly point out, 浅草 gives off a completely different vibe than it does during the busiest hours of the day. Less bustling and crowded but still very much alive (unlike in the early morning) and so very beautiful. I can't ever get tired of seeing these shutters and finely decorated iron curtains on Denboin and Nakamise-dōri, in the pure ukiyo-e tradition of 江戸時代, hearing the distant chatter and laughter coming from Hoppy-dōri, marveling at Sensō-ji and the illuminated temple grounds, etc… I hope you will shoot many more of these late afternoon / early evening rides for each is bound to be treat, just like this one.

    こんにちは！以前みさとさんの人力車の動画の中ですき焼きの話をしてたのを見ていてあとで調べてみたら、すき焼きは浅草で飛鳥時代のころからどうやら食べられていたそうですよ！！ちなみにもんじゃ焼きも江戸時代初期に子ども達が寺子屋(学校)で文字を覚えるために鉄板に水でこねたきじを鉄板にのばし文字を勉強していた事から浅草で日本初のもんじゃ焼きが誕生しもんじ焼きがなまってもんじゃ焼きになったそうです。そののち浅草から日本中にふろまったらしいです。なのでもんじゃ焼き発祥の地は東京の月島ではなくて浅草がもんじゃ焼き発祥の地となります。

    I can't get over how the passerby kept calling Rie-chan kawai over and over LOL. She is cute, for sure, but that must have made her so embarrassed haha

    ところで、里英さんは車夫の仕事は大学生の間だけとおっしゃっていたと思うのですが
    確か今年度で卒業ですよね？具体的に何月までお仕事をされるのか聞かれたことはありますか？
    プライベートなことなのであまり詮索してもいけないとは思いますが
    ただ、里英さんファンの海外ブラザー達の為に
    「〇月までに日本に来られれば里英さんの運転に乗車できるかもしれませんよ。」
    というアナウンスをしてあげられれば、彼らを落胆させずに

    "El viaje de Chihiro" es de mis películas favoritas y me doy cuenta de que Ríe-chan tiene razón, la calle "Hoppy Street" tiene cierto parecido a la calle donde los padres de Chihiro se convierten en cerdos 😯.
    Ríe-chan como siempre tan divertida y linda, me gustó muchísimos el brillo que le pusiste en sus manos jajaja.
    El "Sky tree" se ve impresionante de noche con esas luces.
    Ue-sama, una pregunta: ¿que contienen o que venden esos dispensadores que se ve en el minuto 10:40 a la derecha? He visto varios en tus otros videos de diferentes colores y con algunas diferencias, siempre he tenido la curiosidad de saber lo que contienen. Gracias

    Imo, before sunset is absolutely best timing for a rickshaw ride.
    The ambient light is perfect enough to see all famouse places and buildings. It goes so well with exterior building and interior shop lights. Moderate crowds around many shop and restuarants are like movie background. So beautiful and relaxing🙏

    Shafu Rie chan with the rickshaw deserved all "kawaii" calls from the public. She got energized every time she heard that, I guess 😄. 7:01 Peopel might think that was movie filming. 😅
